Hi ,Had a couple of these over the years ,but cannot remember the protruding screw on the top.Is it any thing to do with the voltage change?☺
Hi Richard, yes it's the mounting bolt securing the upgraded 240v toroidal transformer. ☺ -

SOLD - Lakland 'Joe Osborn' signature Flatwound strings Bought these some years ago during an experimental phase on flats, imported them from the US... Used for a few hours, then straight back in the sealed packet in my strings box ever since. As per much opinion on BC, I recall they were really nice flats, but I preferred Sadowskys. I believe Lakland no longer market these strings They've been cut for a Fender & silks are are in good condition. £22 posted Please PM me if interested, more info required etc.. Cheers
As the name implies, are these 70's wound pickups? Much like the Nordstrand 70's wound nj4's?
Hi, they are custom wound to replicate 70's Jazz pickups, more mids, a bit more poke, fatter sounding than 60's ones. Sorry no idea if they are the same as the Nordstrands you mention, as I'm not familiar with those ones. Hope this helps.

[s]£80[/s] £70 inc. postage. Any questions or further required please PM me. I use a Waldorf Pulse 1, it's a rack mount synth module. Has three oscillators, great for approximating a moog-ish bass sound... However, if you want keys like other suggestions above, the Bass station II is great for the money - can save patches, good midi implementation, plenty of knobs to play with For more aggressive, brutal sounds, as the name suggests, Arturia Minibrute is fantastic too.

Have you looked at the j-fets, are they OK? I've had issues previously with crap ones.
