1.
I shouldn't have looked.....
Neither should I
2. This is new, still with the label attached. It's a very nice gig bag, I already have a hard case and a Mono so this isn't needed. £25 posted.
3. I have the following strings for sale, they are totally new and unopened. A 4 string set of DR Sunbeams in 105, 85, 65, 45 gauge - £20 posted - .sold pending payment. A 5 string set of Status Hotwire double ball end in 125, 100, 80, 60, 40 gauge - £15 posted.
4. They sound like the highbeams. If you're buying them for asthaetic reasons though don't bother, the black wears off very quickly !
5. I'll take this if you could answer my PM please .
6. If anyone is daft enough to be thinking of selling either a 5 string or a 6 string Sei then pleeeeeeeeeeeeease let me know !
7. What's the difference between this model and the SKB and LG models ?

9.
hey mate... I left as post in the items wanted forum about trading any number of basses/guitars etc. for one good bass... there's a list of about 17 different things there of varying value, maybe have a look and see if we can come to a deal? I do really like this bass!
I think the guy wants to trade upwards or sell out right.
10.
You are lucky to get that. They had two left last Thursday and said they would not be getting any for a good few weeks. I bought one and i could not decide to buy the other but decided to wait
Lucky for me that you decided to wait then . It should hopefully be here tomorrow.
11. If you change your mind about selling then please let me know .
12. Would anyone know if the neck twist thing is a major issue ?
13. I've owned two Sei's a 5 string and a 6 string. The 6 string was a headless, and is a bass that I really do regret selling. I'd have bought this a month ago too.
14. I just ordered a Classic1x12 from Effects power supplies. They seem to be the only dealer with any cabs in stock at the moment. I got the Reidmar head from them and was very pleased with their service.
15. Can I ask why you won't split ? I'd have one off you tomorrow.
16.
£900 for the whole lot: http://www.bassdirec...lification.html In addition, 33lbs for a ceramic 1x12?! That's lighter than some neo 112s!
That is a good price, £250 for each cab . I've now sold both my Acme's, so I need to decide whether to go for a used Proline 4x10 or get a 1x12 Classic and another in a month or so.
17.
No, that's completely wrong. Check out any song in a transcription book that features down-tuned guitars. The notation is ALWAYS transposed so that you can read it on a transposed instrument and sound at the correct pitch. Here's an example: http://www.onlineshe...ut-p382346.aspx
I bow to your superior knowledge, and can't be bothered to argue . But I'd be well annoyed if I arrived on a gig and had to down tune to play a chart for a song. I have played lots of charts, a lot of Stevie Wonder songs too. Most of my gigs involve reading, and they've always been written out as heard. I have the chart for 'I wish' in front of me now, key signature is Eb minor, notated as played and heard.
18.
Consider this, you de-tune your bass as indicated and then play along with the notation - you would sound a semitone lower than the recording. That's why the notation should be written up a semitone.
Well no, it's the TAB that says to detune, I'm sure the strings are labelled Eb/Ab/Db/Gb. You play the notation as written E is E, A is A, Bb is Bb etc.
19. I'm sure Nathan detunes his bass by a semitone. I guess that's why there's the discrepancy between the TAB and the notation. I'm sure Bass player magazine say to detune. I've got a transcription somewhere that I did a few years ago and it's pretty much the same as in the magazine, as played being the same as 'as heard'.

21. I've bought a few things from them and never had a problem. I like the way they text you to keep you posted about the progress of your order.
22.
The EU's a Common Market - so there is no customs or import taxes. You still have to pay VAT though.
The price advertised should include VAT, I think.
