1. Hi It was made in 2005. it isn't on Ebay, only selling on here. But please not at present there is no case so shipping if it was to Belgium would be difficult.
2. bump. Should have mentioned I'm open to reasonable offers. Cheers Paddy
3. Hi I am looking to sell my Double Buck. I bought this in the Autumn of last year and it has served me well. Plays like a dream. The electronics are astounding, the variety of tones surpasses my needs....I'm a plug in and play kinda guy. There a few marks on the back which were already there when I bought it but they in no way detract from the playability of the bass and cannot be seen from the front. I have attached some pictures, one of which is from the previous owners sale which shows the marks on the back. EDIT: Reasonable offers welcome. Cheers Paddy
4. Its a corvette double buck - black, 4 string. It's a really impressive bass and I love the variety of tones but I'm a sucker for the LX and I'm craving another one.
5. BUMP for a great looking bass. Wish I could take it off your hands - best I could do would be offer a swap for a 4 string double buck. Good luck with the sale
6.
as said, painfully under-rated basses. i had a 5 string fretless (not heir) that i deeply regret moving on..
Not sure what I'd accept as a trade....Open to offers...worst i can say is no thank you. Ideally I'm looking to replace this with another Streamer LX I doubt I'd get a straight swap. So that's why i may end up selling her.
7. You're right. They are brilliant and with the added Bartolini 3 band eq it is a very versatile instrument. i just can't get used to the 5th string and don't have the patience to persevere with it. Having said that, it is a very comfortable neck.
The most under-rated basses in the world.
8. £375....I have been made an offer which I will honour unless the right bass comes along.....just waiting for a day or so to be sure i want to part with it because it is such a good bass.
Interested in hearing a rough price guesstimate on this one.
9. Yeah I just reused the pics from the time I bought it. Didn't think i could do it any more justice.
10. Hi I have had this bass a little while now....got it earlier this year....around march i think from this forum. it is a lovely bass and the range of sounds that are achievable from the 3-band bartolini EQ is impressive. I have however, found the move to 5 string difficult and also decided that i prefer the feel of my Warwicks. SO, I am putting out feeler to see what people would offer for this as I am now on the hunt for another 4 string streamer and need the cash. At the minute this is a feeler but if the right offer comes up i may let her go. Paddy
11. I'm tempted. I really like the look and have always wanted an Orange Amp. I wish there was somewhere I could go that had all of the above amps that i could try out in one day. That would be the perfect solution.
12. what are the dimensions? the only down side I can see it that it will be a little bulkier than some of the competition
13. I might have a look at the LM3 as well. Thanks My main head is an SVT6PRo and there is no way I wanna travel with that baby. It weighs a ton especially as I have a back up 500watt pa head in the case as well which i actually use to drive the SVT410he when i'm using full setup (completed by a warwick 8x10) As for Cabs, I will use what is there most likely. If we have to travel with small cabs i will use my SVT410he.
I play in a similar type of band, but more modern punk orientated. I opted for the Mark Bass LM3, as I have the Orange for big shows where it isnt a 'tightly packed van' and that gives all the tube gain I'd ever need. The LM3 is a lovely bit of kit. The two filters can be fiddled with to gve you a nice modern twangy bass sound. If you want some grunt, put a Sansamp BDDI or VT Character pedal in front of it. I have mine in a padded Gig Skinz bag...and as much as that isnt as protective as a rack, it works pretty well. Good for small tours and being on the move Again, Im the same, full setup close to home or big shows, and the lightweight head for touring....I hated the thought of taking my beloved Orange on tour, and it weighs a lot in its case. Have you any idea on a cab for your tour? At the moment I just use the backline cabs as we never have room for more than 1 or 2 guitar cabs and full kit
14. Thats very true. Does anyone have an opinion on the sound and versatility of these amps?
15. Ok so from the title of the thread you know what i'm looking at. I am in a hardcore/metal which is about to start gigging. With gigs across the country and mainland Europe we are looking to travel light and only use our full setup (marshalls and ampegs) when we are close to home. I have read loads about the lightweight options available and really like the look of the Mb2 500 and the Shuttle 6.0. I was leaning more towards the shuttle just because of reviews but the mb2 500 size is impressive. The little giant is just an option because of cost really. Can you please suggest which of the three you would buy and why. Cheers Paddy
16. What is the action like on this? Are you interested in any bass trades? I have a 5 String MTD Kingston Heir that i would maybe part with. Cheers Paddy
17. This is my current rig. I would like some more speaker options but happy for now.
18. Thanks guys. The SVT6 drives the 8x10 and the prosound drives the 4x10. I use the ME50B to split the signal to each amp. and yes the prosound is bridged I was trying to offload my 8x10 recently on this forum and was going to get another 4x10 to pair with the ampeg but the right offer didn't come in. I have since decided to keep the 8x10 because it does exactly what i want. This rig will be split depending on the size of venue and what transport we have available on the night.
19. Just thought i would share my rehearsal setup. Normally the ampeg is over beside the guitarist but we were trying different arrangements last night.
20. I will have to put this on Ebay if no ones takes interest. Anybody?
