1. From the front it would look fine and dandy. From the back it would look slightly odd due to an overhang on the lower horn side of the neck pocket, but I do not look at the back of a neck so I would not be bothered. From above it would look fine because it would sit on top of the bass and not really be obvious that there was a lip protruding further than the heel. It would make more sense just to rout the body which is probs what I will do, I was just musing really. Not really thinking about resale, but if a 5 string neck which would fit into a 4 string P pocket and turns it into a 35" 19mm P (with new bridge and pick up) then I would bet that there would be a fair few on here who would be interested.
 2. Whatever it is, I'm liking it (not actually enough to buy it, obv)
 3. I have a couple of P bodies. I want a 5 string P. I know that there are all sorts of issues with wider bridges, routing for bigger pick ups etc etc. However, can anyone think of a good reason NOT to have a neck made that would be 5 string width but chamfered at the heel to fit into a 4 string pocket. The fingerboard would hang over each side of the neck pocket. I could just rout out the body, but I am not sure which body will work with the neck and I want to keep my options open. I am open to accusations that I have too much time on my hands.
 4. Thia seems to be getting a ripple of attention and could be cheap. http://www.churchmedia.net/forums/general-...-described.html

 8. I have just spent some quality time with my Bolin NS5 trying different strings. 4 sets. With Sperzel locking machines - no problemo. Old set off, new set on in about 3 mins flat. They are the future.

 10.
Its cheese: the voice of corporate America. Has nothing whatsoever to do with the creative energy behind rock as an expressive art form and has everything to do with the tin pan alley, 'line 'em up and pick em off', 'tell me what you want and how much you can pay' method of songwriting. The eighties was full of this watered down stuff, the rock equivalent of ready meals. High on sugar content and short on nutritional value. Me no like.
And things have changed?
 11.
Thought these would have been snapped up at this price.
So did I. If I was looking for any sort of PA speaker these would be gone gone gone.

 18.
In an effort to get the economy moving this is now on Ebay. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...em=290345708508
It sold on Ebay. The winning bidder then declined to buy when he found paypal charging him 2400 Euros instead of the 2250 Euros he had bid. I'm guessing bidders remorse. Needless to say it is going back up again but I thought a gentle nudge here would do no harm. I would give the non paying bidder grief but all his feedback is private and I'm guessing that there is absolutely nowt I can do about the situation. What a drag.
 19. Also originally from MS, my brother snagged this for £200.00 in 1989. The full story is elsewhere on the forum, but deffo a bargain. I cannot find the story. Tell me more!
