1. Probably
2. Yeah Android has been fundamentally flawed with audio due to a latency in it's architecture. I believe these are solved now but it's now 3 years behind the curve.
3.
They're far too light to use as anchors. Not too bad for chocking car wheels though.
So you won't be wanting this then http://wrenandcuff.com/site/the-stompboxes/the-hangman-2d/
4. It's an ongoing series but I've got some of my blog dedicated to my iOS setup Might be interesting for a few of you (not Shep, he doesn't care, I checked) http://www.tayste.co.uk/2014/02/24/the-ios-bassist-pt1-an-introduction/ http://www.tayste.co.uk/2014/02/25/the-ios-bassist-pt2-moving-forward/ http://www.tayste.co.uk/2014/02/27/the-ios-bassist-pt3-audiobus/
5. You didn't mention it glows blue :| Anyway people are only bagging on you to get the DI version so they can buy it off you when you get bored Very nice looking amp indeed.
6. Yep agreed, the new one is build to original grey specs so sounds amazing (so I'm told)
7. I'm rocking a selmer treble and bass 50 on an 8x10 and it's nothing but drive tones
8. Yeah I generally prefer it after fuzz
9.
I've got one of the newer graphic SFTs, run off the Diago 18v adaptor. I do bloody love it for raging Ampeg/Timmy C tones, and it's so nicely touch-sensitive that I do leave it on 80% of the time. HOWEVER, I find it does not stack well with any of my dirt pedals apart from the Rat, bizarrely...Of course you'll be alright with this though! ;-)
Are you running it before or after other dirt when stacking?
10.
I wish someone would nick our guitarist's HM2. Bloody awful pedals.
I'll pay good money for a HM-2
11. SFT, makes valve amps more valvey been on my board for years
12. Well, I can probably use the modellers to get what I want but I don't need super clean hifi or at least I don't think I do
13. Urgh full range, can't I get loads and loads of high end roll off please
14. What's FRFR stand for?
15. http://www.kemper-amps.com/forum/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=4217 Hmmm
16. Ok I forgive you
17. As helpful as ever Dood
18. I'm looking for a powered PA cab for bass, for use with my modeling rig, also generally PA cabs are lighter than similarly powered combos and have all those handy handles all over them. My requirements 500+ watts Pull out handle Tilt back wheels Sub 25kgs (ideally sub 15kgs) 1x12 or 1x15 Hardwearing enough that I can just lug it everywhere like walk a mile dragging it on its wheels Neutral or bass heavy sounding So options?
19. Bump Also now no longer missing the thumbrest
20.
Already downloaded along with purchase of latest issue; an interview with Pino, it had to be bought.
The pino issue does he talk much about his use of the kemper and NIN? Not looking for a freebie but I bought an issue for a feature on JMJ to read it was just a summary of tweets
21. Ok, to give everyone an update on this I spoke to Janek recently and basically he's been absolutely overwhelmed by the response as have we to be honest. I've got 2 boxes here waiting to go out to him that will be sent probably March now and he's looking into bulk methods of shipping from him to the locations and has apparently got What I may start doing as the quality of strings varies is chucking the crap (I mean seriously people just sent us cut up strings that are of no use to anyone) and just sending across the neatly packaged and coiled ones. So if people want to continue sending the strings that's fine I'll be updating the facebook just to update everyone else.
22. Yeah never use the words finalise pedalboard
