  1. Can I add another challenge to the test.

Is it possible to have a shiit out and measure Brown note capacity of a cab?

The Cab that creates the most unholy mess is the winner

There is a validated score of The Bristol Stool Chart

Absolute legend, legendary bands and a great solo artist.

I was privileged to see him in the last year in his solo tour and it was one of the best shows I have ever seen.

    Thoughts to the family

  3. Agreed

One mans Zion or Nirvana is another mans hell.

I accept all the comments here from both parties, and whether or not there is a magic sauce is sort of irrelevant.

Does it sound good to you and the listener?

If it does it's a great product.

If it does not, no manner of 'marketing spiel' as it's been called true, false or otherwise will hide this fact and a product will get found out and ultimately crash and burn

  4. Depends on what power supply you have.
Hope I am not teaching you to suck eggs but if you have a properly isolated power supply each socket gives you a voltage and a mA rating. It's usually minimum 100mA per socket.

Find out the mA for each pedal and add them up as well as voltage match.
You will then know how many you can daisy chain off each port safely with no loss of efficacy.

I had a decibel 11 Hotstone deluxe with 8 ports, but comfrotably ran over 10 pedals without excess hiss.
Now I have shrunk I have a Cioks DC5 and run 4 heavy draw and current pedals with still further room to expand.

You may need things like voltage stack or mA adding cables, again depends completely on the pedals

  5. Oh yes and Dood

I blame you as well, should never have listened to your awesome reviews, next time have me playing, no one will buy anything

  6. I've read all the comments and finished all the popcorn and have to jump in.

I sounded sh*t and sloppy through my 8" combo amp so I thought it was sound related.

Got a Hartke LH1000 and Hydrive 410, still sounded a bit poo, but it's because of those aluminium speakers.

Got a Darkglass amp and a Barefaced Supertwin, now I sound sh*t, but everyone can hear me as well as it's really effing loud.
It's got to the state where I don't even like my own playing...

So to conclude Alex, Larry,Doug - you all sold a man dreams and then shattered them and also his wallet.

Holger is next on the list for making me buy a Sandberg...

  7. Hey Pinball, hope you are well buddy. Completely agree with you, Sandy pups are the best.

So far as looks go, i mainly buy on them now, i have 2 basses, red with a tort guard, one the VS4, one the DK, the mrs thinks i only have1 bass, I'm just gonna keep buying the same colour....

  8. Fair enough dannybuoy, it's why being a bassist is great at the moment, so much variety for everyone's ears.
It may be overkill for me having such a huge pedal, but I mainly just use the A channel, I just love what it does, and use the fusion mode gently as opposed to full on filth.

Well done Dragonlord, it's the correct decision for you and when it arrives, please give some more info/soundbites, I'd be really interested.
