1. Ok one final bump as I'm being moaned at for the fact my gear takes up too much space in the dining room.
2. In cm it's 62x62x40 weight about 2 tonnes if it doesn't sell I'll just hang on for a bit
3. Another weekend bump and a price reduction. £110 anyone?
4. Bump come on, this is a really cheap cab. I'm getting moaned at to make some space.
5. Just bought 2 pedals from Floyd. Arrived very quickly and in great condition. All good and great to deal with.
6. For sale, my old Vox Escort 50 bass amp. It's not getting any use at all and is just sat there taking up space so I figure i'll move it on. It's in pretty good condition. It's used, but it is an old amp. Cloth has a couple of small tears that should be visible in the photo's but it's pretty good for an old amp. There is a little hum when it's on but apart from that it's in full working order. really cool looking retro amp. Looking for £125 for it (NOW REDUCED TO £110 -NOW ONLY £100!), and it'd have to be a collection or at least a local delivery/handover. I live in Nottingham and work in Coventry.
7. For sale, my old, battered and well used Hartke 410 XL. It's just not getting used at the moment and is sat as a "spare" taking up space. It's quite old, I'm not the first owner, and it certainly looks like it's been well used. It's also quite heavy. It is, however, a good solid cab. reliable, sounds great and been great for me while it was my gigging cab. Only asking £100 for it (NOW ONLY £90) and would need to be collected or at the least delivered/handed over pretty locally. I'm in Nottingham but work in Coventry.
8. Current covers band does mainly indie stuff (arctic monkeys, kings of leon, killers etc) and we're looking for a song to add to the setlist that's very current. Something everyone knows and loves, but will be old in about 6 months so we'll drop it and find another "current" hit. The problem is that it's proving hard. Nothing that's charted recently seems to fit our style. Any ideas?

10. Not at all. Even when I'm really happy with what I have I'll still be keeping an eye out for things. Like a jazz from 1973, or a 75 reissue, or another aerodyne. But that's all. Or or a spare amp. But nothing else. Oh, or a lightweight practice amp perhaps. Maybe a peavey t40 if one came along. But really, that's all......

13. I'm tempted by this but I'm really after a 75 reissue. It's the block inlays. This bass with blocks would be perfect. If I bought it I'd be looking at others with blocks and thinking I should have waited. I think......
14. Always on the lookout. At the moment I'm hankering after : fender 75 reissue jazz (must have matching headstock really) peavey t40 jazz from my year of birth 1973. Not sunburst or natural. I think that's about it but I'm always suceptible to seeing something nice that's not on 'the list' edited to add, at the moment I have cash but can't find what I want. When I have no cash there are loads of them!
15. Just bought an aerodyne from Andy. Pleasure to deal with. The bass arrived only 3 days after I transferred the cash and was very well packed. The bass is lovely and the whole transaction was as smooth as it's possible to get. Cheers Andy.
16.
Is that my old Ibanez I spy in the background? Are you fed up of it yet?
hi. I did wonder if you'd spot it when I loaded the pics up. Sorry not fed up yet. It's not one of my regular gigging basses but it gets a trip out from time to time. It's a really nice looking bass and not up for sale just yet. Sorry. Being looked after though. You fancy a geddy instead?
17. Hi everyone, I've decided to move on my Geddy. I bought it about a year ago from Pete1967 on here but I've not really got on with it as well as I thought I would. It's not being used much and so I thought i'd sell on and have a look around for something else to try. It's in really good condition. There are 3 small marks worthy of disclosing but as you can see on the pics they're nothing more than normal wear and actually hardly noticable at all. As you can see, pretty good. I'm asking £500 which I feel is very fair. Based in Nottingham but happy to post. Cheers
18.
I'm sure they exist, but I've honestly never met a cover band that is full of genuine people. There is such an air of superiority surrounding all the people I've met. Even the bands I've auditioned for playing covers have been so far up their own backsides a sneeze could be fatal. Anyway, maybe think about getting together an original band with some mates, just for a laugh?
perhaps I've been lucky then because my last 2 covers bands have been brilliant. Part of my audition process is to decide if they're the sort of people i'd have a beer with. both have passed with flying colours. originals however.........
19. cheers mate, thanks for the link and appreciate you passing word out. getting some good responses locally but yes, this will be a challenge. all my idea. It just hit me that i'll be 38 in Aug and that's the current life expectancy for my twins. A sobering thought and also a good opportunity to do something.
