    Have you ever played the USA Bill Dickens model, Russ? I did at the Frankfurt Musik Messe, when they were released, under the surveillance of the master himself, who has huge hands that said. It sounded really really really well, but even back then I found it very heavy, the bass, not Bill, though... 🤪😉🤔

    It's because of the way the output jack is working: it's functioning with an on/off switch inside, so you won't be able to read the voltage with a TRS jack as it does nothing here except turning the preamp on with its tip. 😉

    @nuno1959, seems like you didn't read my answer... I've been an official accredited repairer, long ago, urm, very long ago, and always received the schematics asked, but it was my day job back then (and I can't say I've become rich thanks to it, but that's another story). The other way round is to follow the circuit and use what we've always used, an oscilloscope and a signal generator or even faster, simply knowledge as I've fixed 99% of default amps without any schematic.

    To have a precise reading, yes, otherwise, it will show it's maximum reading voltage, which is 10.23 Volts. "The highest voltage the Batt-O-Meter can test is 10.23 volts. If you have a device/ instrument that runs on two 9 volt batteries, the Batt-O-Meter will display the highest voltage it can recognize (10.23 volts), although the voltage may be higher."

    For those interested, there's this perfect device, called Keith McMillen Batt-o-Meter, which can test batteries inside an instrument or pedal, outside them and even self test itself, which means it was really well thought.     As you're not an authorised tech, there are very little chances that Epifani will send you a schematic, but if your tech is an authorised one, I mean someone who is doing it as it's official day job, he will get the schematic from Epifani as it's mandatory (even if Americans have a huge tendency to sit on this). So tell him to ask Epifani himself. 😉

    9.6 to 9.8 Volts is the standard reading of a brand new quality (9 Volts) battery.

    You won't like my comment @la bam, so don't read it, even if the solutions are in there. Easiest way as it's what's your heading to with your vanity is stopping playing in any band. Sounds harsh, but your behaviour is exactly that: harsh and selfish... Wearing glasses is not an option, it's mandatory and concerning the distorted view with varifocal it's linked to the type of lenses, the cheapest one will give that effect and as you go up the range and price, there are excellent varifocal glasses that will allow you to read from left to right without any distortion or problem as well as from bottom to top : this is what they are really intended for and need a very tiny bit of time to get used to them IF you wear them all day long (took me exactly 1 second to get used to them and I only need glasses for close sight, but chose to have the perfect correction even for my very good far sight, which is now excellent). But, excellent varifocal glasses are expensive, around 2 to 3 k£... Think about it another way: I guess you're driving a car without glasses and not seeing anything at a remote to far distance, it's simply criminal and I hope you'll never get involved in an accident where it's proven that it's linked to your poor sight! Concerning the weight of instruments, you could play sitting, using a Dynarette (https://www.thomann.co.uk/hopf_dynarette_high.htm) as this accessory will relieve all the weight, or use a lighter instrument for ALL sets, your back will thank you. Now I'm certainly pissing against the wind as you seem to prefer the ostrich way than acting for the better ... and you know it. Sit on your vanity and see the positive of all the above and I hope you're not dying your hair too or wearing a head covering to hide your baldness... Told you you wouldn't like my comment.

    Your edition is a fake as "recherche" is feminine, the correct title must be "À la recherche du temps perdu". That said any Harry Potter book would have done the job perfectly, furthermore they are available in different thicknesses for perfect angling.

    I did it the Eich way, screwing strong magnets under the feet and metal washers on the cab to receive the head, works flawlessly.
