I m really into my jazz deluxe too!!! Great bass..... Check on the Sandbergs , you might find her big sister there , for not so much money
I do like the slightly downsized body on the Deluxe. The Sandbergs are lovely basses but I think they are similar to a full size jazz body, which is not the way I want to go. A Lakland DJ 5 Skyline is more like it but no left handers at the moment.
that would most likely be whynot!
Could have been me. I had this one up for sale on Stati a while back. Bought it off a friend. Notice the Entwistle buzzard type markers. Although quite stunning to look at, I really went off the white body. Just not for me.
Hi Alan, did you get on with the neck profile? I tried a 4 string Custom in the Bass Cellar a couple of years ago and found the shape uncomfortable, very deep U shape. It was really battered and they wanted £2500.
To be honest it was sometime ago and can't remember exact details but didn't find it that nice to play. I think the weight was the major issue for me. Could not fault the sound, but if your standing with a bass for a couple of hours then you have to feel comfortable. May be worth asking the seller if he knows what wood is under the black. My old MK1 had a lovely neck. Was a little narrower than a MK 2 I tried.

To be honest I'm in the same boat as most of us in that I can't really afford much else without selling something. I'm seriously considering selling my Shuker 5 headless just to cover the cost of other things I want to do. Really into my Jazz Deluxe at the moment and would love to get something similar in a 5 string version but would probably have to go custom (Mr Shuker again for sure). Can't do that kind of money at the moment without knowing I have the cash.
I couldn't say Josh, they go for crazy money.
Our European friends would happily take it for £1500+ I guess with the current exchange rate.

Noticed this yesterday but I had a lefty 5 string WAL back in the 90's and was quite heavy compared to any 4 string WALs I tried or owned, so I'll be passing on this. I think it needs a new nut as well due to being strung the other way at some point, the groove being too wide on the G string.

Had a garage clearout the other day and came accross my old Atari 1040 ST (midi in/outs), with monitor. Last time I used this was about 10 years ago but the lights still come on. Will throw in my 64 channel Hybrid Arts sequencer software as well. All for £25.00 cash on collection. If anyone is interested please don't ask me to demo it as I can't remember a thing, but I know there are still Atari users out there so there may be some interest.

Hi All, I have a Tech Soundsystems 410 S for sale in excellent condition. It's the 8 ohm version. 1200 watts and only 53lbs, so pretty lightweight for what it delivers. If you like punchy with crisp highs then this may be for you. Not really into shipping cabs I'm afraid so cash on collection only and looking for £500.00. PM me with any questions.
I personally believe that left handed guitars and basses should not exist - how many left handed violins, pianos, saxophones etc are out there? Alex
Thus depriving many left handed bassists (and guitarists) a career as a pro/semi pro musician or simply enjoying the instrument. I would guess the % of left handed Violin players are a lot lower to left handed bassists, simply because the lefty option was not readily available. Piano and sax are very different by nature of the instrument layout. I can play a little piano no problem. Ask me to pluck strings with my right hand and it simply does not come naturally, and I know I would never have been as good as I am now if the headstock was to my left.

Something has come up (ooh-er misses) so looking to move these on. Two lightweight 1x12 neo cabs, only 17kg each. 300w, 8 ohms. Front ported. Comes with fitted covers and in great condition. Used on a couple of gigs with an LM11 head and worked fine. Quite loud for two single 12s. GAK are selling these for £329 as per link... ND112 So looking for £350 for the 2 including covers.
