2. Welcome to the Font of all knowledge for all things bass (excluding me of course) Nice to have another yorkie to redress the balance
3.
Should have bought a Warwick.... Padded gigbag, tool kit, manual, straplocks, wax, duster, label telling me what woods were used, when and where it was made etc!
They should include the rules and regulations of baseball in case you ever give up playing bass and want to use the neck for something else
4. As far as Amps and cabs go two peavey MkVI XP's and a selections of cabs is more than enough and now with two Bongo 5's I honestly can't think of anything I need.... as far as want goes I will always be lusting after a nice overwater in 34" scale but that is just on the lottery list <stands up> "My name is Monz and I have no GAS" (paaaarp)
5. Gorgeous it most definately is and now residing next to my Desert Gold 5HS And for anyone thinking of dealing with dub_junkie have no fear... the guy is a complete gent
6. Have you tried OutToPlayJazz if he is still teaching? He is just over the other side of the Humber bridge
7. First Bass - Warwick Corvette 5 ~(never again unless I take up baseball) Go to Bass - MM Bongo 5 Your Bass - MM Bongo 5
8. I set my SR5 up using the two Lakland videos on youtube where you give the neck an 8/1000ths relief and it works perfectly... I don't know how to put youtube links in here but if you just search for lakland setup on youtube you will find them, and follow them to the letter and you get great results
9. Thanks for taking the time to explain... sorry if I came across as a bit of an arse
10.
Sad face
Just so you are aware... I'm holding onto my SR5. I've put it on here because you seem to struggle to reply to mails and PMs Good luck in your search

17.
God I love those, it was my dream amp, and I was lucky enough to have one for years. They are simply amazing. I use a shuttle now, and I don't miss carrying the trace, but I do miss the sheer pleasure of owning one.
I will too now... the head has now sold so only the 1048 cab to go, someone offer me in the region of £80 and come and take it
18.
If I wasn't stacked with Trace kit... If you do end up eaying, remember to offer trhem as individual pieces. Nothing holds the price down than offering amp and cab together.
Thanks for the advice... will do that
19.
I was wondering,.. about a price on the cab?
PM me an offer...
20. All PM's answered... come on guys the evilbay is looming on the horizon
21.
agggrrrhhhhh , i got two of these heads pure blooming brilliance ( ill suffer the back pain) id have the head off you but i would seriously be divorced .!!! bump from a trace lover!! y dont you keep the head and just out the speakers you wont get a head like this again for what youre gona sell it for,,.... theres gotta be a bit of rooom some where in youre house for the head to hide away and be protected!!!!!! zig.
I hear you brother but I have been playing through valve amps for ages and they just work with basic eq and I'm used to that now... This trace has a bloody knob to alter every single aspect of your sound which some would say is brilliant but it is too much for me. I have a couple of Peavey MkVI's which do the job nicely and are basic enough for neanderthal like me to master I know I am losing quite a bit of money on this but hey spread the love and all that, I have had some bargains off basschat, someone else can have one
22. OK Price drop time... £400.00 until Sunday evening then it goes on the bay, could do without the hassle though
