1. OK, forgive my ignorance, but what essentially is the difference between connecting one cab to each output and daisy-chaining on cab off the other, from one output? My Evo II head has two outputs, and personally i use a speakon - jack cable into the first speaker, then daisy chain into the second cab - just 'cos they're the cables the bass gallery threw in with the cabs when i bought them, and i fear change! I presume the outputs are parallel anyway? I'm guilty of having nice toys and not really knowing all of the theory behind them, very much plug-and-play. Possibly not the best attitude to have, but i'm trying!
2. I've got one of Mark King's old Ashdown Bentley 4x10" bass cabs And also a whole bunch of picks, drumsticks, tour books and laminates from the bands i've worked for over the years...
3.
It seems a bit pricey for what is essentially a keyboard, stripped down to page up / page down buttons and then made a bit more rugged.
That's probably all it is, all it is, is a couple of buttons. Green issues aside, it's the simplest ideas that often prosper. I've certainly not got the time to build one, or work out how to. If i did i'm sure it'd be the size of my fridge and run on steam....
4. I bought a couple of these a while ago, they're perfect for when you're reading some notation on your computer and you want to scroll down without taking your hands off your instrument (insert smutty comment here)... It seems to work with Adobe Acrobat, Office documents and a bunch of transcription programs i've got. http://www.bilila.com/pagescore_turner

Thanks
7. I'm sure you can always save the picture, and then print it off as a PDF. Thanks for the find.
8. I've got a Gigrig midi 8 http://www.thegigrig.com/acatalog/TheGigRi...DI-8_Black.html which comes with a power supply http://www.thegigrig.com/acatalog/TheGigRig_GENERATOR.html The website says it provides up to 5 amps and i've not had a problem with it in any way. It's supplying about 1,800 mA to my rig quite comfortably and with no hum, hiss or loss of sound quality.
9. I'm quite partial to a bit of extreme every now and then! "Cupid's dead" from III sides to every story is a great track, the middle riff / solo is good fun to play.
10.
For a good right hand workout you want www.magicteapot.com
DAMMIT! i actually looked at that page.... Not complaining though...
11.
Welcome. And the Bentley...?
Thanks, The bentley - ha ha, it was given to me by a rather well known bass player at the end of a tour i worked on for his band. He had a couple of them on it, so he very generously gave me one. Incredibly powerful and i've never seen another one. It looks tres sexy too....
12. Hello all, I'm new to this forum and thought i'd do the polite thing. I initially joined just to sell my deep impact, i figured if i'm going to sell it, then i'd rather it go to someone who'd appreciate it, which led me to here to post it. Now that i am here, i realise there is a massive resource of information and gossip, so i'm sure i'll hopefully become a regular. I'm not in a band at the mo, my job keeps me away from home and a regular rehearsals are an impossiblity, there's nothing more frustrating than wanting to play, when you can't. My job involves me touring all over the world with some pretty big bands, but unfortunately on the wrong side of the stage as i'm a lighting tech, not a performing musician - but usually buying a few hotel bar pints for the bass tech enables me to hook up to the PA in soundcheck and have a blast, it's not everyday you get to play at full volume at a stadium gig - and all the free strings i want! My gear is: - Musicman Stingray 5 - main bass - Fender Jazz American Std (new one this year) - second bass - Ashdown Evo II 500w head - Ashdown ABM 2 x 10" cab - Ashdown ABM 1 x 15" cab - Ashdown Bentley 4 x 10" cab - With quite a history to it... - Marshall B25 practice amp - for when the missus tells me to keep it down. - Dean Acoustic Bass - Aria Sinsonido Bass - perfect for a tour bus or hotel room - with Line 6 Tone port GX & Korg Bass Pandora So, so many effects; Gigrig, sansamp prog DI, boss overdrive, boss tuner, boss line selector, Korg G5 (which i may sell), EBS BassIQ, EBS Bass Unichorus, Crybaby Bass Wah, EH Mini Qtron, Aphex Punch Factory Compressor, Boss Flanger, Boss Loop Station, Boss Octave all velcro'd down nice and neatly in a Diago Pedal Board. I've been playing for about 15 years, and i'm mostly in to run-of-the-mill rock. The chili peppers and Led Zep are my all time favourites, both the bands and their bass players, but of course Jaco, Marcus Miller, Victor Wooten and Stu Hamm are all major influences on me too. As i mentioned above, i'm unable to be in a band so i've recently been doing the Trinity college rock school exams - I got the grade 8 distinction last year, and looking to do the RGT grade 8 in bass and popular music theory and the Associated board theory exams too. That's enough about me, let's talk about me some more.... Thanks, Mark
13.
man i want one again, pity im not £245 better off
It went for £250, it's what i paid for it. If you guys are after a cheaper one, there is one on e-bay, it was going for £127 last time i looked a couple of minutes ago, 3 days left on it. (it's not mine, before you ask!). Good luck in getting one, it's an awesome pedal, but just a luxury i didn't really need.
14. In great condition, perfect working order and barely used. I really can't justify keeping it anymore as it's just a luxury, so unfortunately i've got to let it go. Offers please, starting at £250. I live in Forest Hill, south London. Either collect or I can send it special delivery at buyers cost. Images: I hope it goes to a good home!!
