    Hi,

Sadly my 69 jazz bass was in a car accident and the headstock got snapped clean off (luckily the occupants of the vehicle fared much better).  It got repaired by a guitar tech some years ago in Leeds and I believe epoxy was used to fix it but now the join is opening up.

So I'm looking for a luthier recommendation who would be able to sort.  It's a real players bass (as you can see from state of wear) and I'm keen to keep it playing/looking as authentic/seamless as possible. I'm based near Leeds but prepared to travel to get the right person to work on it.

    Thanks

David Wilson as others have said. He is a magician at stuff like this amongst other stuff he’s also brilliant at and a top fella too! No brainer imo

  2. And sold 🙂

Up for sale the stupendous Barefaced Big Twin T Generation 3. I’m sure everyone knows about these, there’s lots of info online too but it’s a behemoth of a cab that weights them same as a packet of chocolate hob nobs. In excellent A1 condition and sexy silver cloth too.

Comes with a Roqsolid cover and delivery anywhere in the U.K. using my man with a van for £60 ish.

No trades as I have a 6x10 and a pair of Big Baby 2’s already.

  3. @Steve Browning I am exactly the same. A 100% P bass player, had lots of rays and I love the look of them but can never get on with them. Pre EB, brand new etc and it just doesn’t matter I just can’t get away with them. However every time I hear someone else play one I’m blown away at how great they sound and wonder if it’s worth another try. It never is 😂

  4. Almost brand new, withdrawn to have another go but I just prefer a bank of pedals. Comes with all instructions, cables etc. Velcro on the read but easily taken off.

No trades ta and postage a tenner unless you wanna collect it from Hexham.

Bass Monkey has just put an exceptionally clean ‘72 Precision up on Facebook today too, but I can’t link it here. It’s not on their website yet. That’s someone of this parish is it not?

It is me, I will get it on over next day or so. The 71 P is a beauty too
