I appreciate I’m in That London but I hadn’t heard of this :-(. Could even have popped in to No. 1 daughters but I’m spoken for now.

    Have a great time & I hope it’s successful. That ‘63 P is awesome!

Thanks man, I will be bringing that with me, such a cool thing. The 62 P and 63J may come along too. Yeah I didn't know too much about it but looks like a decent show, only on for a day but I will enjoy a weekend in Brighton anyway, if I can park the camper van somewhere!

  2. Hi All, just wondering if anyone is going to be at the guitar show at Brighton Racecourse this Saturday? I'll be bringing a selection of cool basses down with me from the north east and it looks like a nice little show, albeit not close. If anyone from BC is there pop in and say hello, Vintage Bass Room will be next to the mighty Ashdown. Looking forward to my own visit to Barefaced the day before for a snoop around and maybe collect my new Three 10

  3. Probably THE best wireless on the market imo. This one was my main until the + came out and it’s just been my spare which tbh I don’t need. Amazing bit of kit, fully working and comes with new charger cable.

No box but will be securely packaged up. U.K. postage included or I’ll be down at Brighton Guitar Show on Sat so can bring it with me.

  4. Absolutely, Nate Mendel's Lakland P gets used for every Fu Fighters gig I play ( Rockprest on Sunday ) and the '79 Bicentennial T Bird and the 74 Rippers do the Nirvana gigs ( A local music boozer in Newcastle on Friday ) . No point having them if you don't use them for their purpose.

Its so cool and looks unbelievable, it seems such a shame to keep it as an ornament, deserves to be played.

Yeah Ive had one or 2 in stock over the last year or so, they sell well and are pretty well spec'd for the money too

    Buy lots of individual pedals.

....then realise it's a bit unwieldy, costly, and difficult to do complex changes live quickly.

Sell individual pedals and buy a multi fx.

......then realise that it isn't as 'hands/stomp on' and not as 'what you see is what you get' and some sounds (like envelope filter) aren't as good as individual pedals.

Sell multi fx and buy individual pedals.

    Repeat.

Is the right and only answer

Always wanted to try one of these... 400 miles away though 🥲

Well I may be in Edinburgh at the weekend and travelling to Peterborough on Thursday if that helps? Don’t mind bringing it that far buddy

  8. Amazing head and becoming a strong favourite in the bass community. Comes with a nice cover too and has just been serviced by Dave G at Ashdown. One of the VU lamps isn’t lighting up but the amp works as it should, it doesn’t effect the function.

    TRADES WELCOME

Ideally I would be interested in something like a Quilter as a small back up amp for gigs or something along those lines. I am pretty sorted for big behemoth valve amps so something that'll tuck into a bag with a bit of headroom for stage volume would be grand.

    Price includes UK Shipping.

Elevate your bass game with the Ashdown 'Head of Doom' Geezer Butler Signature Bass Amp Head. This exceptional creation was meticulously crafted in the UK Custom Shop to meet the exacting standards of Geezer Butler, the iconic bassist of Black Sabbath. The story of Ashdown and Geezer Butler's collaboration began three years ago, culminating in the creation of the Head of Doom.

This amp head is a tour de force for bass players seeking classic, driven bass tones with immense power. Built on Ashdown's flagship ABM range, it offers rock-solid reliability and tried-and-tested tone. What sets the Head of Doom apart is its sophisticated 9-band EQ, featuring Bass, Middle, and Treble controls, along with six sliders for precise cut and boost in tonal regions beyond the standard controls.

Aye, it’s clearly a mutt. Just wondering how - if it’s a Hondo - they let it out of the door with those routes.

Aye looks like it was done with a machine gun from distance or maybe the GG 😉
