Yeah if you want it now ( within 6 weeks ) you’re gonna pay this and some. It’s not as crazy as people think, for some the GAS is real. They are amazing bits of kit. GLWTS dude

He's not mentioned anything about the rout on the back in his descriptions, either on ebay or Facebook, which I do find odd.
Rob
But has put a super clear picture on and it’s easy to see and identify it’s a battery box hole that’s been repaired, People who will be able to afford this bass will do their due diligence and his pics are more than clear enough imo. Anyway I know he’s on here too and I’m sure he will be along to add to this. Looks like a canny bass for the money imo but it’s a jazz so I’m out

Maybe I’ve missed it but I don’t see where he’s saying ‘in untouched original condition’
He’s stating that the parts are all the original ones to the bass.Yeah I know the seller really well and he’s a top guy. Not sure he is misleading anyone with the listing 🤷♂️

Always a pleasure and happy to help out anyone looking to move a bass safely. My couriers are excellent, reliable and suitably priced for a peace of mind service. Glad it’s in France mate, must be why my bass delivery to me is slower than normal 😂

Shiftline Olympic MKIII real tube preamp in great condition. Bought on here from @d_g and it really is amazing. Only selling as my Noble arrives tomorrow. This is damn close to the Noble sound, but a fraction of the price.
Comes with original power supply and not available to order atm, Russia of course.
Anyway, selling at same price I bought it for plus £15 tracked postage.
Not any others available anywhere else atm and rare to come up. No trades thanks.
Thanks all 🤘

Yeah I would love to hear what you think. I ordered one from their distributor in Italy and got messed around for ages and took the full refund in the end. Shame as I was super keen to try one at the time.

I'll follow your advice, and hoping it's not too rude to page Sir @walshy on this topic, instead of messaging him out of the blue, so we might get in touch and see what we can arrange 🙂
I love this forum solidarity. 🙂
Send me a message dude and I can hook you up 🤘

That’s a dream room right there, Walshy!Down to brass tacks - what are the main differences between the pair of cabs with the SVT?
Main things I’d like to know are:
• Can you hear and feel the 6x10 as much as you can the 8x10? Is the height difference of the 8x10 noticeable?
• Is there a difference in tone or are they near enough identical?• Is the Barefaced a compromise over the Ampeg? i.e. ‘It’s very nearly as good as the SVT but sooo much lighter etc.’ but the SVT realistically has a bit more to it.
Cheers in advance mate!
Yeah the 8x10 is magnificent but the Barefaced is like 95% there and 95% less weight so it’s a no brainer. It kinda allows you to stomache the heavy head when the cab is so light too.
So, if both rigs are set up on a stage/room I’d use the 8x10 Ampeg every time. If I was loading in myself the Barefaced would come every time.

I don't know if it's my age, but I'm increasingly moving towards a P bass with an Ampeg sort of approach to everything.
It's like my changing tastes are violating everything I hold dear!
Do it, it’s a way of life 😂
