1. Hi, I'm round the corner in Radcliffe. As mentioned above The Towler has a jam night on thursday eves. I think a fair few local bands have got started that way.
2.
Lovely cats!
Thanks - we have three, one was being a little shy that day
3. After buying this in December as a back up, my original backup has been repaired, so while I'd love to hang onto this for old times sake, I need the space and the cash so sadly it has to go. Sounds epic, in "roadworn" condition, but recently serviced and a damaged pot replaced at a cost of £75 by Dave Lunt. (can't figure out how to rotate images) I'm happy to get more pics if required, please note sale price excludes cats! I'm looking for £250 (and I can throw in a homemade trolley with heavy duty wheels if it goes for this price) - possible trades would be [s]an analog mixer with built in FX,[/s] a light weight (class D) bass head (Markbass?), possibly an electro-acoustic parlour guitar, or WHY. Potentially cash either way for the trade. Pickup from Radcliffe, North Manchester preferred so you can try the amp out, I could also look at meeting half way somewhere. NOW TRADED
4. Just bought a mixer from Chris, it was an easy transaction and the unit arrived quickly oh, and first prize for the comedy outer packaging
5.
Petracchi - Simplified higher technique
This is what I'm using
6. I have a badass II bridge, a EHX deluxe bass big muff and a samson airline I'm looking to move on at some stage. Probably got more stuff knocking around too.
7. whereabouts are you? I'm going looking at an amp this eve, if it doesn't work out I might well be interested in this
8. Stevie bought my stack knob jazz control plate. He's a complete gentleman and I'd be happy to do a deal with him in the future. Cheers mate
9. couple of pics
10. I've added a j-retro to my jazz, so my stack knob control plate is surplus to requirements. Trade fodder - possibly a nice modulation pedal, with cash adjustment either way or WHY I'll put some pics up shortly
11. Bought some lava plugs from Austin, it was a quick and easy deal, I wouldn't hesitate in buying from him again cheers mate
12. I'll take the Lava connectors please if still available?
13.
Ahh, I see, well, I thought the chopper could do this but after a bit more reading I'm wrong. There is however the Ernie Ball 6165 Stereo Volume/Pan Pedal which should do what you want
Yeh I spotted that, It's quite pricey and also a big footprint, I think the custom root will be my best option in this case. I'll just have to try not to start thinking of all the extra bells and whistles to bung in
14.
I can't think of anything off the top of my head, unless you used a small powered mixer - but the size of the box maybe a bit much. However, I would whole heartedly recommend asking someone to do a custom build for you. A great example would be Max over at http://sfxsound.co.uk who can build..well, pretty much anything your heart desires! He'd also be able to make something small hopefully that doesn't eat up loads of gear space!

Definitely this. Sounds exactly like something I would get Max to do.
this is what I was thinking, but I thought I'd check to see if there were any off-the-shelf solutions first
15.
I'm a little confused as to what you need. Surely the looper will output stereo even if you on;y have a mono input, but then why would you want a stereo output with no stereo effects on it? The normal one would be a stereo chorus set subtly to create a difference between the two sides. Anyway, in case it's any use, check out this pedal which I've lusted after for years http://www.gig-fx.co...oducts/chopper/
I don't want to rely on effected sounds, but here's a graphical representation of what I'm trying to schieve L ----------------0000--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------R loop layer 1 L ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------0000--------------------------R loop layer 2 L -------------------------------------------------------0000-----------------------------------------------------R loop layer 3 make sense? the gig rig is autopanning, I want each layer to be static in the stereo field, thanks for your thoughts tho
16. I'm after a small unit that place my mono bass signal in the stereo field which will then go to a stereo looper (Boomerang III). Anyone now of any options other than a Saturnworks Bass Pan pedal? My only objection to these is the relative cost of importing the unit it's actual price, otherwise it would be ideal. I spoke to Bryan at Saturnworks and he doesn't have a UK distributor. Cheers
17. I could well be interested in the lava kit
