2.
Can't beat an NS5XL Glad you think so Barrie! I can't emphasize the quality of these basses enough! Someone is going to pick up a wonderful bass here!
 3. I think Sandberg basses look great, and their relic designs are so much better looking than what fender are bringing out at the moment. I quite fancy a 5 string JJ hardcore aged in their roquefort blue with a maple board, same as this one. Should I get in touch with Sandberg directly then to arrange the order? 4.
...OK so the tunes may not be cool and right on but I'd still like to learn a few songs like this (fast forward to 0:52): The tune he's playing, at least from 0.52, is 'cheek to cheek', the old jazz standard. The chart for it will be in the Real Book. I thinks its awesome to show just what can be done with a bass guitar! It can be a beautiful lead instrument. Check out BC's very own Kevin Glasgow's arrangement of another standard, 'My Romance' here.

 8. P.S. here's one for the road! A shot of the gear I used for saturday's gig, in the centre circle before kick off at London Road Stadium, Peterborough. Don't think I won't miss it!
 9.
Oooh! Do we have a winner? Who's the lucky one?
It would indeed seem that way, pending the usual formalities... Claudio, (apothem) as the first man to throw the required notes my way wins a splendid example of a sadowsky NYC!
 10. Any peterborough united fans, or traveling swindon fans (if such things exist), might catch a glimpse of me in the centre circle prior to kick off at London Road on Saturday. Alternatively, if you're an usher at the wedding I'm playing on saturday night in Hemel Hempstead I'll see you there instead!
 11.
I want this one... Always wanted to try sadowsky.. and this one is BLUE! I love blue basses.. Its like, perfect..
For example, what do you call a beautiful lady on a keyboard player's arm? - A tattoo. (... Mildly amusing type bump at the expense of keyboard players everywhere )
 20.
Be careful, I think you've got an alien hidden behind the keyboard !!!
Actually, thats his normal, relaxed face! Oh, keyboard players, the butt of so, so many jokes...
