hi guys a feeler for selling this precision, i purchased this a few days ago trying to get away from rics!!!! i have came to the conclusion i am a ric player and thats that!!! cant get used to the stretch on the frets on the precision, i am actually in pain playing this thing!!, i purchased it a few days ago cost me a grand would sell for £850 if anyone is interested. its a 2011 american precision olympic white with maple board comes with the skb flight case and candy. its a great sounding bass just not for me. **** WITHDRAWN ***** george 01294 604281

i can vouch for the playability and tone of this bass i owned it before torvic, it was an incredible bass to play, and a fantastic range of tones and not bad looking either.

hi chrismuzz, thats the last of them now mate, i had a few from previous years, i dont gig now and there is no point in rickenbacker,s sitting in a house doing nothing!! these basses should be played. this is the last one now, no more left lol, this bass just sounds amazing, you have to play it to appreciate how good it is, i had about 3 new ones they just didn,t sound that good to be honest, if i was in the market to buy a ric, i would not buy a new one , they look nice, but don,t have the tone in my opinion. cheers george

hi guys, up for sale is my last 4003, the bass has just had a full service and set up, this rickenbacker is a special sounding bass no issues with duff E strings etc, it really has got the ric tone, if your looking for the geddy lee type sounding ric, this is it, i have owned way to many of these and out of all the rickenbackers i have had this one has just awesome tone and a great a player, i recently tried 8 brand new 4003,s in a shop and not one of them could touch this bass for tone, every single string rings like a piano, the way they should be sounding!!! dont know whats going on with the new rics, they just dont sound like they should. it also comes with a brand new rickenbacker hard case. i am asking a high price, but the tone alone justifies that price. there is slight buckle rash on the rear but has to be held in a certain light to see it, the rest of the bass is spot on no chips on the headstock etc, which is amazing for a 13 year old bass. £1300 plus £20 shipping i have a rickenbacker shipping carton. george 01294 604281 i will get more detailed pics up as soon as poss. i received better pictures from ash, it is a 4001 probably between 1977-1980, its a genuine rickenbacker, i have seen the bass stripped of hardware, just needs some love and a new paint job then it will be as good as new. george

the headstock looks of older design to me , i was talking about the truss rod anchor godber it looks more up to date than the rest of the bass to me the spacing, interesting bass . would like to see better straight on pics to see the headstock properly. it is defo a ric neck and headstock. . after looking at the bass more am going for a modified 4001!!!!
