1. Hi All, Here is my Fender Jaguar in stunning sunburst finish. The bass is all original except the neck pickup which has been replaced with a noiseless jazz pickup and the tone capacitor has been replaced which provides the tone knob with a lot more variance than the original capacitor. However, the original neck pickup and original capacitor will be included. The base is in very good condition, only a few chips but they are only visible very close (further pictures can be requested.) The hard case is included. I am asking 500 + shipping as I bought this new for £500 whilst the pickup was an extra £30. I am located in Egham which is easily reachable from London (I'm happy to take the train in too) or I can ship if you wish. Trades wise jazz basses are my jam Many thanks
2. The artec certainly sounds interesting, and at the price it seems like a steal. many thanks, everyone. I'll have a go with a few options and see what works
3. Hi all the tone pot on my Fender jaguar doesn't seem to be doing much to the overall sound the the bass, I have checked the wiring and all seems attached, I know the jaguar series can be a bit temperamental but has anyone experienced this problem? Many thanks, Tom
4.
what about the Seymour Duncan Blackout would that be what you need?
What are the blackout's like?
5. Seymour Duncan Quarter pounders and Daddario rounds ( I know I should really be using flatwounds but I find them a little weird on the hand)
6. My only concern about the P retro is that you have to boost treble and bass at the same time (I'm a real lover of load of bass and little treble) would the deep boost be able to achieve this and can you vary the level of bass boost?
7. Hi all I'm looking to get an active P bass circuit, in particular a treble, bass and mid boost/cut, does anyone have any recommendations? Thanks,
8. Hi everyone, I'm gonna see if there is any reception for this on here. This is a Fender Japan Geddy Lee with a John East Active Preamp and a set of Seymour Duncan quarterpounder pickups as well as the appointments of the fantastic Geddy Lee bass. condition wise this bass is very good, there is a scratch between the bridge pickup and the control plate (pictured) but it is only noticeable close up. For clarity this bass at some point in its life had a defect in the manufacturing process, but it was sorted and as a result the original serial number was replaced with a different on, this was done by removing the last three numbers of the original serial number and putting a pice of vinyl with a serial number on over the top. This pice of Vinyl has unfortunately fallen off. This is why the serial number had the last few digits missing. But to calrify the bass is in perfect working condition. Price is 500 + shipping which I think is a very reasonable price for a bass like this with the East Preamp (£200 extra) and the S-D pickups (100ish), The bass will come with the hard case shown and I am happy for local collection (West Sussex) and shipping. Im open to all trades and I am particularly partial to jazz basses. let me know if you have any questions, Many thanks, Tom
9. Hi Everyone, I hope you are all well. Here is my Fender Mexican Bass VI which I'm not using anymore due to other life committments so I though I'd see if anyone else would be interested in this beauty. It is in extremely good condition, only the faintest amount of buckle wear on the back of the body but it is absoluptely negligible. The Neck is clean with only the tinniest of dinks which are only visible when you look really close and not noticeable by feel. It has the upgraded Staytrem bridge (Pictured). Price is £500 + Postage. I am totally open to trades, Im a real lover of Jazz basses but I will consider anything and everything. It will come with a good quality soft case and will be packed with lots of cardboard if you wish to have it shipped, pickup is also welcome, I am in the West Sussex area. Let me know if you have any questions, Many thanks, Tom
10. Hi everyone, Im selling my Mighty Mite P bass neck with Rosewood Board. its in great condition, the rear of the neck is spotless, there are a couple of chips on the back of the headstock and some glue which I presume a previous owner stuck something on with but it is out of the way when playing. Price is £90 + Shipping Let me know you you have any qeuestions Many thanks, Tom
11. That is a point, maybe I'll leave that idea to the imagination then.
12. Hi All I am thinking about making a bitso bass using a starcaster body but im not sure whether a regular jazz neck would fit the neck pocket. Does anyone have expereince with the starcaster's neck pocket? Thanks
13. What is the neck like on this, gloss or matt? love the bass. Is it a 38mm nut? many thanks
14. Hi all, Im trying to install a jaguar mute to my bass, my problem is that I have the plate and the outside mounting screws but i cannot find the appropriate screw and nut which is pushed against by the spring/plunger. Sorry if I didnt explain that well, but I was wondering if anyone knew where to get that specific bit. Thanks, Tom
15. Wow, stunning, If only you delivered I would be jumping on that. GLWTS
16. Hi everyone, I have a very worn and battered EB-3 bass which I would like to donate to anyone who wants it if they are ok with paying some shipping costs. I got this hoping I might be able to practice some skills of woodwork, refinishing and the like but I havn't got round to it so would like to offer it to someone else. The neck was sanded at some point ( is shown in the pictures) and there is a crack in the body which has been glued back together solidly (also shown in the pictures) apart form that the electronics are all in working order as well as the metal parts. The truss rod cover is also AWOL. will happily ship or collect from Hurstpierpoint West Sussex. Many thanks, Tom
