Hi All, Here is my lovely 1983-4 Squire JV p bass (with added bridge pickup), the quality of the JV speaks for itself and it is indeed a lovely bass at that. The reason for selling is that i find P bass necks slightly too large to be comfortable. This bass comes with an added bridge pickup that was added by a previous owner which adds a lot of tonal variety and I have really loved it, unfortunately the routing was not excellent so it has a stylish cover around the pickup. The overall condition of the bass if good but it certainly isn't "mint" with various knocks, grazes and scratches. Happy to send more in detail pics if you would like. Happy to post at buyers expense and will consider trade offers or collection from West Sussex. Many thanks for looking ps. Feedback here:

Hmm, interesting, if you type 'fender fsr 60's jazz bass fiesta red' into google the first result looks awfully similar? Looking back at the conversation with the person whom I bought it off (an established member on this forum) he assured me it was a Japan FSR?

Hi, just been researching and found out it's a fsr 60's bass which goes new for around £750.

Hi everyone, I hope everyone is well and coping with the heat I have here an excellent Fender Japan Jazz bass, specifically it is a Factory Special Run 60's bass that has 60's specs: 7.25 Neckboard Radius, vintage style frets and slim C neck. This bass has extremely little wear, the neck is untouched and there is only very minor scratches in the body which can only be seem up close in light. I have priced this bass at £600 because of its excellent condition (they are new £750). Comes with a soft gig bag. I am located in the West Sussex area and pickup is welcome, I can also ship it at extra cost. Open to Trades: my preferences are jazz width nut and active circuitry, or a Hofner Verythin bass or Fender starcaster. Feel free to request more specific info or more pictures. Many thanks, Tom
