1. I got some of these b stock a few years ago now: http://www.thomann.de/gb/samson_media_one_4a.htm Still working and they don't sound bad at all for their size/cost.
2. I know these get lots of love anyway but thought I'd share my experience. I need a fretless for a recording this week, and this popped up cheap and local so went and tried it out - amazed ! Plays perfectly, sounds great, even better with the tone backed off. Much nicer than the fretless precision I was going to spend 4 times the money on. If it can handle gigs is another story, it feels light and obviously cheap but for my recording coming up its perfect.
3. Selling this as it's been used once since I got it. Perfect condition, comes with box although the box is damaged. Only has the 30 pin lead. It works with a 30 pin to lightning adaptor but it has to be a genuine one, the cheap eBay ones won't work. Price inc UK postage. Can email pictures if needed.
4. Bargin!
5. I need to get some kind of battery powered amp, to use make my U Bass usable when Jamming with a couple of acoustic guitars, and to take busking. Size/Weight is important so Power packs/Large batteries aren't really an option, and I'd also prefer something that takes removable batteries so I can go out all day and take spares. I know the obvious choice is the Roland, but I'm not convinced that there isn't something just as good for less than 189 new.... After some searching I'm now considering something like a Battery powered monitor/pa ... something like this perhaps? http://www.thomann.de/gb/artec_pmd_8.htm What are peoples opinions on this? Thanks!
6. Off to ebay time bump
7. Still sitting around the studio bump...
8. Thought I'd give a heads up to people on hear, there is a code for 15% off in the latest WTF podcast from Marc Maron. I'm skint so unable to take advantage but it might help someone out!
9. Now £70 (or nearest offer) collected!! No trades for now, need this gone asap. Bump!
10. That's right... Total menu then edit your volumes for each patch. You can also set the volumes for each effect as well, I think about 90% of the effects have a blend option which helps as well.
11. Managed to grab a sonic port for 45 quid on ebay, but it only came with the 30 pin cable... I should have checked it out first but the cheap 30 pin to lightning adapter I have doesn't work. I've had a look around but it doesn't look like you can order replacement cables? Anyone happen to know if this is possible?
12. Tried the cab out tonight, low volumes absolutely fine, high volumes get nasty sounds playing a low A. Spent some time messing about with it, and pressing down on inside of the port on the bottom it sorts it out... so at least its not the speakers that are damaged after all... phew. I'm going to look into trying to add a brace to the bottom to make that area stiffer and hopefully get rid of the buzz. If someone wants to take it off my hands before then and do this they are more than welcome to make me an offer!
13. It is! I'm taking it apart at the weekend finally... see whats 'wrong' if there is anything. So I may end up sticking the price up a bit bump!
14. Putting my back up amp up for sale as I need the cash more right now. Decent cheap class d amp, can get some good sounds from the EQ. Works great as a small power amp as well, (as I used it) using the line in on the back. 2x 300 watt @ 8 ohm/500 watt @ 4 ohm outputs - which unfortunately can't be bridged so two 4 ohm cabs are needed to get the most from the head. Not that I ever did, one was loud enough! It's is good condition, main point being some holes I drilled in the base of the head when I had it bolted into a small case. Included are the rack ears, although not pictured as I don't have them with me (will update asap). Price includes UK postage, collection also welcome. Any questions please feel free to ask.
15. Great pedal in good condition, selling as it's not needed anymore. This is the older purple one. £45 inc UK postage, collection / local delivery in Leigh on Sea also an option. Any questions please feel free to ask. Can't seem to add photos on the mobile site, will get some up asap.
16. Afraid I'm not after an acoustic no. Thanks for the interest all the same. Bump!
17. Pm sent
18. Bump.
19. Bump. Open to offers.
20. Not had this long, but since buying this I picked up a Stingray 5 which is doing everything for me now, this has been basically unused by me, other than re stringing. Its in really good condition, is set up well and plays nicely. Nice wide neck if thats your thing and the 35" scale makes for a great B string. Quite a low output for an active bass, and looking through reviews it seems to be common to swap out the pickups/pre amp to make a good bass great. Spec here: http://www.mtdkingst...om/basses/Z.htm Pictures here: http://s1088.photobu...eshow/MTD%20KZ5 Collection only from Leigh on Sea please! May consider trades (for anything) as well. (in particular bass/guitar pedals, something fretless or a U bass) Thanks for looking.
