5.
is it a drop in replacement for a jazz Mark? no routing required for the battery?
Not really...... you'll need some space for the battery and the unit itself (which isn't huge) but on most fenders you'll need some routing Mark

8. Hi Guys, I only play with my fingers.... I know I should be able to play with a pick too but I've never wanted to and now simply can't !!! A couple of songs i'm playing now are very identifiable as a pick and simply don't sound right with my fingers...... Any pedals out there that would help simulate the attack of a pick ? Sorry if this is a daft question ? ATB Mark

13. My Spalted Maple Alembic Series II weighed in at 15lbs ! It was like playing with an iron gurder strapped to you.... that is the only reason why I don't own the instrument now !! By the end of the first set i'd usually be in pain !!! 10lb is my "ceiling" for a gigging bass
14.
you could just paint it with some tartan paint ! good luck with the sale...i'd have had it if it had been black
If you did that you'd need to fit it with a left handed screw driver.......
15. ooohh Nicko.... That's nice !!! from a great stable too
16. Sustain eh ? I know a long sustaining note from a bass with a big "piano like" accoustic tone makes you feel like you have a well constructed instrument, but most bass players work hard to kill the notes that ring (unwanted) and when was the last time anyone needed a note that lasted more than a couple of seconds anyway ?
17. Great Guy to do business with
18. I took a Gotoh bridge off my old flea bass and replaced it with a BadAss II The difference was not subtle...... well worth the time / money / effort (IMHO) Mark
