  1. It's probably because of the 35 inch scale and because of the brand name. To be honest I was afraid of that too in the beginning. Later I came to understand that a well designed bass(like this one) that hangs and balances properly makes a minimal difference to me, in fact it is easier for me to play than most 34 inch scale basses I've had. Perhaps the response of the strings (due to the longer scale) has also something to do with this, the bass feels very responsive and fast.
  2. Mint(almost, see pictures) Ibanez Prestige from 2005. Whoever has played one, knows the high quality of these instruments. Everything works as it should, the bass plays wonderfully, and sounds really good(that's subjective of course). Equipped with custom US Bartolini radiused pickups, and a two band eq which is rather nice. There were versions also with a 3 band eq, this is not one of them. Weight is 4 kg, balances really nicely seated and standing. Shipped in its original case with the original straplocks and strap. The case is funtional but the forth lock is missing a part.Still it stays closed with the other three locks. Shipping is not included in the price but I will happily ship (as I have done numerous times before) in an appropriate and safe package at the buyers expense. It is around 50-60 euros for EU and UK and it takes normally up to a week. Priced a lot lower than I got it, because you know..I want to sell. (copied from my other ad:) )
  3. Yamaha trb ii 4 in very good cosmetic condition, made in Japan quality, at least on par with my Ibanez prestiges. I got two of them and have decided to let one go. 35'' scale, but very comfortable to play, both seated and standing. Weight 4 kg which I consider light. Everything functions as it should. Along I will give a d-tuner that was on from the previous owner which I took off and replaced with the original tuner. Shipping is not included in the price but I will happily ship (as I have done numerous times before) in an appropriate and safe package at the buyers expense. It is around 50-60 euros for EU and UK and it takes normally up to a week. Priced even lower than I got it, because you know..I want to sell. Not interested in trades unless its some kind of amp. I should add that the price is not indicative of what you get. The bass plays and sounds wonderful.
  4. Actually right now 1750 pounds is 2085 euros. And he said 1500 euros not pounds. That's an even higher difference. Nice bass by the way!
  5. Good communication, fast and secure shipping. I would gladly buy again from Jarek:)
  6. Hi Wolfgang, I was somehow waiting for a response from you, since I explored first your site and read what's written, and then I found the thread. Allow me to say, your instruments look pretty nice, like the classic thing done right as far as sound playabitlity construction and looks:) go- I really wouldn't mind that funny headstock on an instrument that potentially sounds as good(and play) as some of the online videos indicate. As a potential near-future client, I really hope for a very high quality per price ratio - from what I've gathered so far.
  7. Marinus is the man! Prompt payment, excellent communication, deal with absolute confidence. Regards, Pete.
  8. Thanks everyone, the bass is now sold.
  9. Yep, it's 34" scale, 19mm bridge spacing, and 40mm nut. Very nice player, and the woods feel amazing in the hands(at least to me). The ebony fretboard is the thickest I've seen and feels like chocolate if that makes sense.
  10. Thanks for the nice words! I'd love to try one of Everson's later works to see how he evolved, this is already an expertly built bass and it must be one of the earlier ones.
  11. Bump again, for this lovely handmade bass.
  12. Bump, very special bass, 530£ shipped.
