    Ok, sorry about the delay. According to my digital luggage scales, the bass is 8.7 lbs.

    Bought this fine bass from Bass Direct in March last year. Since then, it’s only been used at home for a project, and hasn’t really been used since then! As such, it’s in immaculate condition, having been kept in a gig bag whenever it hasn’t been in use. Never been gigged; it’s not even left the room in which I keep it! Will sell with a Musicman gig bag which, although isn’t brilliant, does afford protection for it. I can courier, but would prefer collection, or I could deliver in East Anglia for petrol. Im sure you know what these basses are all about, but if you have any questions, just ask! I have a feedback thread on here somewhere, haven’t sold on here for a while but it’s there for peace of mind when dealing with me! 🙂

    I’ve had 2 ABM500 Evo 3s and they’ve both been fantastic. Have run them through a combo of 1 or 2 Hartke 4.5XLs and have never struggled to get a variety of tones etc. The Ashdowns do seem to have a lot of bottom end, but I’ve found by backing off the lows and boosting the low mids on the EQ that it’s not “wooly” - but of course the bass itself will have an effect on that (I’ve used my Precision with flats and my Stingray through this setup for years, and have “settings” for each of them, so it’s nothing which causes any problem). Of course it comes down to personal preference too, but I’d recommend the Ashdowns I’ve tried/owned. *edited to add - it also has “heft”. ;-)

    Bit of a long shot, but can anyone direct me to a direct replacement for my Ray35 battery box? The "door" has snapped off mine, leaving me having to secure the battery with duct tape....!

    Ernie Ball Musicman Stingray 2EQ for sale, with official Musicman hardcase. Candy red with black pickguard, maple neck with rosewood fingerboard. This bass was purchased in January 2016 as a late Christmas present to myself. Since then, it's hardly been played, as was a bit of an impulse purchase as an addition to the herd. Sadly, due to having to buy a new car, it's now time for me to let this one go. The bass is in immaculate condition - it's never been gigged, or even been to practice, and has probably had around 5 hours playing on it since I bought it! Ideally need a sale, as need the money for my new car. Bass is in Norwich, I can deliver within reasonable distance or arrange a courier etc. UK sale only, thanks. Any questions, just pop me a message. Also, I have a feedback thread going so you can check that too. Cash on collection/delivery by me, or bank transfer.
