1. Bump for price drop £325, spotted something I fancy:)
2. Hi, I'm selling my NS Wav, Cherry finish over a flame maple top. In good condition, couple of small dings. Fingerboard and electrics fine. NS strings. I've added some removable foam mutes to give a DB type "thump" Comes with stand which I've modified with an allen key adjustment and NS gigbag. The spots on the bass are due to it starting to rain when I took the pics! Price is £350 plus P&P or meet up between S.Wales and M5 Brum, M4 London for Diesel cost. Pickup and any trial is fine. No trades thanks. Cheers. Gary.

4. Bump for price drop to £350. I'm in London over the weekend, I could take the bass with me. Ta, Gary.
5. Hmmm, only bass I owned from that period which I really liked was a Kramer 450B. The mid /late seventies Fenders I've owned have general been well below par, unlike my '69 Jazz which is a peach. I'd still like to try a '56 P bass(my YOB) any around?
6. Hello All, I'm selling my Yamaha TRB 1005, Natural, lovely maple top V.C.G. Sounds and plays great. 35 inch scale great B string, piano like tone. Very flexible three band eq. One of the better low/mid priced 5 strings out there. I'm selling it because just don't use 5ers these days. I'm asking £375 plus postage or cost of fuel along M4/M5 corridor. Pickup is welcome. If It's posted I'll put it in an old but serviceable Warwick padded gigbag and securely pack it. Not interested in trades, too many basses! I'm in South Wales near Swansea. Cheers, Gary. Pix........ 7. Strings I bought from Matt arrived in double quick time. Great stuff. Cheers Matt
8. I've used one of their '51 P Bass bodies, worked perfectly with a Mex Mike Dirnt neck. Vintage string ferrules fit great. Bridge alignment is also spot on. The body is two piece Swamp Ash, lovely grain, lightweight and resonant. I'm not affiliated with the company in any way, just a satisfied customer. Gary

13. Hi all, Amp needs to go, so price dropped to £400 cash. Thanks, Gary.
14. Hi All, For sale on behalf of a friend is this Marshall JCM 800 bass series amp head model 1992. The amp dates from 1986 and is a rare 'Red' model. It's a 100 watt all valve head. It was apparently modded to four inputs before my mate bought it but returned it to the original two inputs and had it serviced around four years ago, since then it's been in storage. The amp sounds great, no scratchy pots, hums or buzzes. Very loud with a great eq section, loads of bottom end and a nice swept mid range. I've tried at rehearsals and a local 'Jam Night' very impressed by it, lovely clean tones and nice bit of grunge given a hotter signal. Cosmetically pretty good for its age, bottom corners are broken and the tolex has split on one side at the bottom, it had gaffer tape on it but I took it off for the pictures, some surface rust on the chassis. Pricewise he's looking for around £500 or thereabouts, possible trade for a Steinberger EUB. The amp's in South Wales and any trial is welcome, he won't post it(don't blame him)may travel to meet up. Some pictures: Cheers, Gary.
15. Hi, just checked and the poles are all flush with the covers, I rang the guy I had it off and he told me they are the original pickups for the TST 40. Cheers.
16.
Bump for price reduction £300 delivered, or looking for a single Mackie SRM 450mk 2 Cheers, Gary.
17. Thanks for all the help. Cheers Mr Foxen, I'll get hold of Eltham, Bridgend is only down the road from me. Ta, Gary.
18. Hi All, Could anyone recommend a good(and cheap) rewind service please. The Tesla bridge pickup in my Jazz has died, without any problems in the past. It's reading open on a meter and the tech who checked it told me there must be a break in the coil. It's a great sounding p/up but obviously I don't want to spend as much as a replacement would cost, around £45 from Ebay. Cheers, Gary.
19. Hi All, Tokai TST 40 'Goldstar Sound' Strat for sale or trade, made in Japan in 1984. The guitar is in terrific condition for a 28yr old instrument. Serial number is 230297, age confirmed at the Tokai Registry. All original, lightweight Alder body finished in Olympic White which has aged to a lovely creamy colour. Very few scratches and dinks, the worse one is on the upper bout(pictured) Very comfortable C profile Maple neck with birdseye figuring, Rosewood board. Trem cover is off in the back pic back on now. Non original hardcase in good condition is included. I'm asking £300 posted, or would be interested in a trade for a single Mackie SRM450mk 2 Not looking for a Bass, trying to cut down on those! I'm in S.Wales but could meet on M4/M5 for fuel cost. Pickup and any trial is great. Cheers, Gary.
