  1. When I first started the thing I learnt that helped make sense was to look at the bolt head on so you're looking directly at the front of the bolt face. Then it's righty tighty and lucy lefty. Worked for me anyway but everyone remembers and learns differently :)
  2. These are great, rock solid tuner and you can create your own patches through their website too. GLWTS
  3. It is yes but I was making a very poor joke
  4. Where do I buy cangle wax from? Sorry, that's actually good advice
  5. That's odd, my initial email was to [email protected] who then created a spare part ticket for availability and price. They then got back to me so they definitely did supply spares for Sire or have only very recently stopped in the last month or so. Sorry you had no joy with them
  6. Check out Sound on Sound personal ads for an idea of pricing synths. EBay is just too crazy and often unrealistic. Also vintage synth explorer can be useful. GLWTS!
  7. That's so obvious when you explain it! I'm going to try it, thank you!
  8. Good point but you can raise he string height by going down a fret or two with their thingymejig
  9. Thanks for the help! I'd emailed the company and they replied to say that it's not compatible with bass (and they've since added a not on the description). Not saying you're wrong at all but strange they didn't make the same observation, maybe I'll email them again with what you've said!
  10. I came across this great tool but unfortunately they don't make a version for bass (boo!) - does anyone know anywhere that does? https://www.guitarbuilding.solutions/product-page/luthier-tools-string-action-gauge
  11. I never got round to building this, it's a programmable eurorack module that does lots of things such as LFO's, chord generation, random generator, arps etc. Full details here - https://allensynthesis.co.uk/modules/europi.html https://github.com/Allen-Synthesis/EuroPi Includes pretty much everything you need to build it - chips, screen, Raspberry Pico Pi etc etc - you just need the resistors and capacitors. Price includes postage
  12. I can throw in the official Line 6 PSU too
  13. Matt bought a couple of pedals from me, all went very smoothly and a great chap to deal with! Cheers!
