4. Price Drops ! EQ pedal + PSU £90 posted V-Wah off to eBay Since aquiring a Roland VB99 to go with my VG99, I no longer need the following pedals and power supply All in very good condition, just a little dusty. Source Audio Programmable EQ pedal for all instruments with Midi. The Programmable EQ allows for precise tone sculpting with 18dB of cut/boost over 8 frequency bands and 12 dB of additional adjustable output. 4 user presets allow for quick adjustments on the fly.http://www.sourceaud...ducts/toolblox/ The battery compartment is loose, but I normally have it mains powered anyway. Box and manual. VGC £75 posted [s]XR M87 Bass Compressor - mint condition. 5. Sitting in a bath wearing Levi's. Wasn't that to shrink them to fit, rather than relic-ing them ? Either way, I can't stand these relic finishes. YMMV
6. Once upon a very long time ago, when I was just getting out of gigging and selling my stuff, I advertised a Ashdown mini stack (ABM500, and 2 x Mini 4x8) on here. A regular (as was I and still am now)came to see it with a view to swopping me a "brand new" Ibanez SGR500 plus a little loot. At least thats what he told me, even specifying the shop he'd bought it from. It was just a pity I had been looking at the same bass the previous week on ebay for a very cheap price from Wales.....and I knew his ebay handle. I was suprised to say the least that he'd try and pull this, but just said "No Thanks". Life's too short, but I have wanted to get it off my chest for years. Luckily, all the other guys I've sold or bought from on here have been great !
7. Hi Ped I certainly do prefer the old for sale forum. Anything I've sold, I've always made a donation, as I think it's the least I can do. I'd like to keep it the way it is, with a price to advertise your item, but I would have no objection to an annual subscription. Mind you, I'm an old fogie, and have been here pre FBI server heist, maybe the newer members won't agree ? Definitely the old "For Sale" forum for me.
8. I don't want to moan, and I appreciate that a lot of work must have gone into the new classifieds, but please can we keep the old ones. I don't mind paying up front for an ad. I know it's early days, but the new bit just seems cold, impersonal, and hard to look at. Sorry if I've upset anyone.
9. It was originally my bass, so I know how good it is. Sorry to see it's moving on, but it's a bargain at this price. Have a bump on me Allan
10. I know this taken, but could you tell me if the board is big enough for a wah pedal ?
11. I had two of these. The one above, and then the later version with a built in compressor instead of the contour switch. It had a great sound, just wasn't loud enough, but the preamp out sorted that. The guy I sold mine to has still got them, and uses them in a small trio. I liked them.
12. Love it ! Both the bass playing and some real mic technique.
13. FF won't let me download it. Keeps chundering on about "Youtube cookies need to be cleared ", do that and still can't download it. Wahh ! I saw the extra long show on the "Selling England..." tour at Glasgow sans Ron Geesin, as the previous week the stage was pronounced a live electrical risk.
14. Bump. Nearly gone twice. Third time lucky ?
15. Join the club.
16. Might be better off looking at a VB99 and a GK3B. http://www.roland.co.uk/products/productdetails.aspx?p=1000&c=425 It will do all that and more.
17. Thanks MoJoke I should have thought to add that it uses bus power. Doh !
18. Sorry no. It has a socket for a 6v, and looks like a + top/-ring barrel.
19. I'll give this one last try, or a trade , if anyone has a small pedal board that's still big enough to take a Boss Power Wah, MXR bass Compressor, Source Audio EQ, and an Aphex Bass Exciter
20. As did Paton the bass.
21. Me (and it seemed like the whole of our street !) saw him at Green's Playhouse (before it was the Apollo ) in Glasgow, on the "Aladdin Sane" tour. It was amazing ! The row of seats we were in collapsed, but who cared ? Bowie and the band were in excellent form. I think they enjoyed it too. Our little band of 14 year olds were out giving it "Moonage Daydream", "Suffragette City" et all around the various youth clubs (doubt they still have them !) at the time. Looks like it's iPlayer for me.
22. Stu bought my vdrums, with prompt payment. He was friendly, patient, with great great comms through out Thanks Stu
23. I remember being told that I was "just getting paid for enjoying yourself" as if this was wrong, or some kind of scam Of course, this was back in the dark ages, when every second person wasn't in a band, so being a musician wasn't THAT common then YMMV
