1. Seymour Duncan SPB-3 and SJB-3 quarter pounder set. A lot of versatility, easy to install, passive and amazing tone!

3. I've just bought Colin's Hartke amp off him. Gotta say, couldn't of been an easier bloke to deal with. He messaged me about the amp and held it for a while for me whilst I sold my amp. I contacted him Monday saying I'd got the money and he even drove it over that evening! I'd happily buy from Col again if something I wanted came up. Top bloke! Thanks very much mate!
4. I know it's not the best idea but I looked on the colour chart it had up and it said "Fender Guitar" under the one I chose as well as looking exactly the same shade as the actual neck. Hopefully it'll all arrive by Friday so I'll upload pictures once I've installed the nut, fixed the damage and sorted the end of the headstock out too. Cheers for your help mate!
5. Thanks for all the replies guys, i've only just seen this. Completely forgot about it. To get one custom made seems really expensive so i'm not going to go down that route but thanks for the recommendations. To me it seems a real pain in the back side to get hold of one and an expensive process so I might just leave it for now and either tune a 4 string down to B E A D or just get a 5 but not bother with the woofer. Oh and with the EMG recommendation, I really am not a fan of their pick ups any more. I used them on 2 of my basses and didn't like them so i'm sticking to Seymour Duncan and DiMarzio pick ups. Thanks though!
6. Hey guys I just managed to Chip a tiny bit of the lacquer on my Fender P bass neck. It's a maple boarded P with an Amber tint nitrocellulose finish. I was removing the top nut as I'm replacing it with a Graphtech one and this happened. I'm not massively fussed about it but I decided to order some amber tint lacquer in a bottle (cost a fiver, not a huge loss) but here's my question. I am planning on (with a very fine brush) drop touching the chip up on it. Do you think this will work properly? I was going to repair the damaged area (fret side of the nut) then install the new nut, glue it in place and then finely run a layer of the lacquer either side of the nut to seal in any other cracks it caused. Also got one or two dinks on the end of the head stock which I'll drop fill too. Has anyone done this before and will it work properly? I've attached a picture of the damaged nut area. Cheers!
7. I just sold Peter my Markbass amp head. He's a real pleasure to deal with. Messaged me about it, paid the next day and he was genuinely a nice guy to deal with. I wouldn't hesitate to send the item first in future. Thanks Pete, I hope you enjoy the amp as much as I did. -Biaeothanata-Bassist-
8. Hey I'm going to be buying and selling a few things on here so I might as well set up a feedback page. Thanks!

10. I'm considering getting one of the Olympic White P5s and one of the Olympic White with maple, black block and bound Jazz basses. I'm tuning down to A in some of my bands songs so the P5 would do that perfectly! Would have to stick a Badass V on it though... I'd have to have the Jazz bass because that's everything I ever wanted in a Jazz bass (minus a Badass II and some passive Duncans/Dimarzios) I wonder when they'll be available over here? Can any one shine some light?
11.
hey mate would you trade with a Roland d bass 210-. ill pay postage a bit of cash to myself to buy a markbass cab
Definitely not, no thank you. Still for sale!
12.
Had one of these, really great sounding amp, I reckon tastier sound than the newer ones, heavier, built like a tank, but a wonderful amp.
Thanks dude, it is a wicked amp. Was handy being able to carry it around with my live pedals (wah, distortion, tuner) as in a laptop case! I can't warrant keeping it as a back up amp though which is why it has to go. Thanks for the kind words though!
13. Looking to shift my MarkBass Little Mark Slim Head 450 bass amp head (picture included). I owned it for a while now I am using something a little different now so it'd be a shame to have this go to waste. A lot of tonal variety from the 5 band parametric, excellent DI out and balanced in. I've used it with 4x10s, 4x12s, 2x15s, 1x18s, 1x15s, 2x10s, direct in to sound boards and speaker emulators. All of which have worked absolutely fine and not suffered at all. It really does pack a hell of a punch! I'm looking for around [s]£250[/s] [s]£225[/s] for this amp. Only thing i'd like to point out is that i've had to replace one of the rubber feet on it. Apart from that, no issues and has been checked over by Music Centre, Bedford. Collection is welcome (I'm based in Bedfordshire) where you'll even get a choice of basses to use (P bass, 5 string J bass, 4 string dual soap bar), choice of cabinets (2x15, 4x12) and free tea or coffee! i will post at cost though if required which is usually around £15/20. Thanks! 16. Hey I'm offering my EMG 40 P and 40 DC 5 string bass pick ups up for sale. Only reason being I prefer passive pick ups to active pick ups so i'm going to load my bass back with passives. Both the pick ups look new, have no marks on them and have only really been used for studio work and 2 band practises. They've been hooked up to an EMG BQC pre amp as well running 18v so i've had the full tonal range out of them but yeah, i just prefer passive tone. They've been used as the 40P in the neck position and the 40DC at the bridge, seemed to make more sense to me that way. Due to the blade spacing on the 40P, you can use it on 4 string and 5 string basses as the blades meet dead in the centre unlike the offset blades in the 40P5. As you'll see in the photo, my bass is a 4 string bass but has 5 string routes which is why these were chosen. I know i have the box for one of the pick ups but i'm not sure about the other one, i'll have to have a look and see. I will include the quick connect cable with each of the pick ups as well as the mounting screws. I'm offering each pick up for [s]£50[/s] £40 plus p&p (or collection is welcome from Bedfordshire) or if you want both, i'm sure we can come to some sort of deal on it. I'll probably knock £10 off or something for the combined pair. Thanks Biaeothanata-Bassist
17. Hmm, thanks for that advise Henry, that's interesting about Curtis Novak, I might enquire to him to see if he'd make one but if it's too expensive I won't bother going ahead with it. I'm half tempted to go for the MM5 pick up but stick some sort of capacitor on it to take out all the high end. I might even try a 7 string guitar pick up with dual blades on it or something like that for the extended range and again, run it through a capacitor. Thanks again for the help B-B

Hey guys I was wondering if any one knows if there's such thing as a 5 string version the Gibson Mudbucker/Dimarzio Model One/Will Power sidewinder pickups as used in the neck position on the EB-0 basses and Billy Sheehan's basses. Only reason is I've got a custom P-Bass with an extra reversed P pick up by the bridge and a Will Power in the neck (just like James LoMenzo has on his Yamaha custom shop bass and what he did to his Attitude LTDII bass) but I'm thinking of making a 5 string version of it to go with it but yeah, i need to get a pick up for the neck position like the Dimarzio Will Powers. Does anyone know of a pick up that would fit that requirement? Thanks B-B

20. Thanks Discreet and BassTractor! I appreciate the welcome and i'll definitely appreciate any help on the issues i have. Hopefully i'll be shifting a few bits of gear on here over some time as well. Nothing to sell at the moment though! just on the look out for certain things. Again, thanks guys! -Biaeothanata-Bassist-
