Agree totally with your review and I have the same one - sunburst with pick up selector and satin finish and I love it. I have been gigging and rehearsing with it for a few months now and its brilliant - it plays great, sounds great (in drop D as well) and it is comfortable. When I bought it I intended for it to be a back up but it is now my main gigging bass ahead of my Stingray, not because I think its better but just because I am so taken with it. All in all it is one of the best purchases I have ever made.

Thanks for the feedback guys, I am going to try one out soon (ish) and just hope I get lucky with the PF500. If it does die I hope it has the good grace to do it at rehearsal and whilst under warranty, then I will look into replacing it with the BH500. Thanks again, Tom.

I am looking to replace my Bag End S-15D with a 410 cab and was thinking of the BC410, I would really appreciate peoples opinions, experiences, alternative suggestions etc. Definately looking for a 410 cab, ideally 4ohms and £400 or under. I will be running it with my Ampeg PF500 amp (until it cuts out). Thanks in advance, Tom.

I love my Fender Modern Player Jazz, at £365 maybe not budget but certainly a bargain in my opinion. Its keeping my Stingray in its case for the time being.

You are not being grumpy - just rational. Your band mates are fortunate they have someone who will drive them to and from gigs and should bare that in mind.

We discussed the idea of Bob Armley and the Jailers (Armley is the prison in Leeds if you are wondering).

Mine goes out when the guitarist messes with it just to annoy me - wouldn't mind so much if he would tell me which ones he had changed!
