1. I used strips, but I'm really after a sheet. Anyone?
2. I quick-fixed the lining of the base of my pedalboard with thick strips but I want a large sheet to cover all of the bottom. Any ideas? Its the furry stuff I need. Dan
3. Is there an expression pedal input, or is it just autofiltering? And does it follow the envelope of the input signal or trigger an envelope that you preset? I'm not familiar with the meatball but it sounds like a good filter for a good price!
4.
£9.99 a month they have got to be kidding!! Spend 79p on iTunes B
Spotify's free once you've installed it. And this is an awesome version. Dan
5. I use an Adrenalinn. £180 s/c or so and does so much more than delay. My DnB band are all midi synced and it does some amazing things! Adrenalinn My DnB act Dan
6. I had a similar issue (volume drops) when I added a DHA to my chain. I contacted Dave and he suggested a wire may be grounding. I dismantled, electrical-taped the offending wire and had to problem since!! Dan
7. Do you remember (It might've been on bassworld) that thread about someone buying an amp from Dolphin? I sent the link to the thread to one of their top guys and he came on here and presented his case, apologised and engaged in discussion with the purchaser to resolve the problem. I would hope that Dawsons would do the same. Dan

What's the best price (Other than Tony's magical £215) that anyone's found? Tonefactor? Or somewhere in the UK? Dan
9. I hate Dawsons Music. I ordered an AriaSWB a few years back, and they kept telling me it'd be in next week for about 3 months. I cancelled my order and vowed never to purchase anything they didn't have in stock. About 4 years later I was desperate for a keyboard bag for my microkorg, but only wanted a decent one. At the time I wasn't driving so I headed out to a rehearsal/audition on public transport clutching my Aldi-bag-wrapped MicroKorg aiming to detour via Dawsons. Got there and despite when ordering being repeatedly told it was well padded with strong zips, they handed me something about as useful as the Aldi carrier it was currently wrapped it. I took it away just because I didn't want to show to an audition with an Aldi carrier. I have since vowed (again) never to purchase anything that is not in stock. Dan
10. If anyone thinks they play better after drinking or smoking or anything else, record the gig and listen to your timing. If tightness is your thing, you won't want to repeat that experience! Dan
11. So one of my bands has decided to release a single ourselves, but the question we can't answer is 'What needs to go the CD?' We've got some weird custom cases made that are clear so nothing will go on there. That means that everything has to go on the CD. We won't need barcodes, we already have track listings but what else? Any of you printed your own CDs? Anyone know what copyright info if any? Any codes? Thanks guys! Dan
12. Are you sat on top of a LittleMark there?
No story, this pic says it all. Stupid grin, having to sit down. (At this point we were 4 bars into the intro and I should have been around the 9th fret. A little impromptu jazzy blues gig at an Irish pub in Gueret. Free wine and beer for the band.
13. Did two gigs in one night with a country/blues guitarist i used to regularly work with. First gig was excellent, and there was free booze. Second gig was a blues jam, so I got totally, totally sh*t-faced after the first gig. I remember setting up my amp in a totally inappropriate place on the stage, sitting down behind it, closing my eyes and opening them when my fingers started to hurt after 2 hours of walking lines. I still get complemented and hired off the back of that gig because I didn't overplay and didn't upstage the frontline players. I guess they mistook indecision for carefully thought out minimalist playing. Easy!! Dan
14. I think its guys who embrace cutting edge technology (and mix in some old stuff) who are the modern electric bass innovators. Guys like Justin Meldal-Johnson and John Davis are embracing new effects and creating some unusual sounds. Dan

16. I've used my B150 for about 10 years now, I've gigged and practiced with it and people have moaned "Oh god, Marshall? I use Eden." I've played through it and they've eaten their words. I totally love mine. The tone can be Ampeggy (Just cut 500hz), SWR and Marshall with the valve/tran preamp, 7band graphic and Gain control. I cannot overstate how much I love it!! It now resides in a damp basement/practise room and still causes no problems!! Dan
17. Is there a case? And how much with collection? I'm in Manchester, so pickup could happen. Dan
18.
I have a pair of Kent Armstrong jazz lipsticks in my j-retro equipped highway 1 jazz. Great pickups.
How do you find the lipsticks? How vintage is the voicing? Dan
19.
Trade for my BC Rich? http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=...rich+beast+bass
if it hadn't sold, I'd be sorely tempted!!
20.
I got my Jaguar a couple of years ago already upgraded with Kent Armstrong Lipstick pickups (and a Badass bridge) from Steve Norris from the forum. The KA Lipstick PUs are a good improvement on the stock PUs, these have a warmer and punchier sound than the stock ones, also look great and go with the retro look of the Jaguar bass. I have been tempted to fit Wizards (84s) and a black pickguard for an all black look and a change Cheers Joao
Please please please sell me those KA Lipsticks. Please? Dan
