    I've been looking for a good Dingwall Afterburner for a while now and finally one has cropped up on Ebay. It didn't sell initially but I sent the seller a message and we agreed on a price. It looks fantastic and is a joy to play. I had to sell a couple of basses to afford this but it was worth it. The even string tension really does make a difference. Its in virtually new condition apart from a couple of light marks on the bridge. It is fairly heavy (I'd guess 11-12lbs) but that's never been an issue to me. Before I messaged the seller I emailed Dingwall for any info they may be able to provide on the bass. They got back to me within 2 hours with following response. Great service considering they had nothing t gain from me buying a used instrument! This model is still available but you can no longer get it with bubinga. We don't use any woods that are on the CITES list and bubinga is one of them.     Hi all, For sale is my 2006 USA Musicman Sterling SUB. Not to be confused with the budget line - this is built I'm the same factory as the normal Musicman instruments using the same parts. The only difference is the matte paint finish, painted neck and no series/parallel switch. The Stingray USA SUB's come up for sale fairly regularly but the sterling version with the thinner neck seems to be extremely rare. It's in excellent condition apart from the photographed dings. The painted neck has very little wear, which is uncommon in these models. The price is £450. I'm happy to post in hardshell case for £30 to UK. Collection from Swansea is welcome too. I found a wiring diagram for the sire and the bridge pickup was wired the wrong way round. Ive resoldered (first time I've used a soldering iron since I was at school lol!) it correctly and everything is fine now!

    Hi guys - I could do with some urgent help please. I've just bought a Sire V7 off someone here but when i've tested it out when the blend is set to 50/50 theres a bigdrop in volume and a very nasty hollow/nasal tone with very little bass. I've had quite a few jazz basses and have never experienced this before. I've done a quick soundclip here - the order is neck - both - bridge.
