On the whole, people tend to love either flats or rounds. However, you don't often see much love for half/ground/pressure wound strings. I offer no reason for that, I can see the benefit of them, but don't go for them myself either...

I'm thinking of getting the Quartermaster 10 to sit at the bottom of my Pedaltrain Pro (seriously needs some bypassing happening!). Would you say that it would be best adding a buffer (say a tuner) at the front/end of the bypass strip, or just leaving it be and keeping everything bypassed?
In the process of updating my board at the moment. I compared my clean signal, straight into amp, to my signal through the board and concluded that I need a bypass strip...
Looking at the Gigrig Quartermaster (relay tru-bypass + pretty expensive) or Brightonion (3PDT tru-bypass - Cheaper but more possibility of popping?). Any recommendations?
