2. Excellent news!! D.
3. It's very nice, but that bridge has completely the wrong string spacing for this bass. It just looks wrong even if it is strung upside down! D.
4. I used to use the earlier NA650 which is almost identical to the newer 700 and it was one of the best sounding bass amps I've ever heard. It'a a very high spec amp and built like a tank. I don't think you'll regret it. Not too heavy, but not light either. D.
5. One of the best amp ever made, regardless of price. I kind of miss mine!! D.
6. Jimmy Egypt is probably the one..............if he can't do it, then he'll know who can. D.
7.
Hello, I just spotted this thread – and as someone who is a partial lefty (I do most things left handed, but was made to write right handed and didn’t know left handed instruments existed), I’ve just had a thought: Here at Overwater we have long felt the industry standard 10% up charge for left handed instruments is just adding insult to the injury of little or no choice – so we have always charged exactly the same for left and right handed basses. Here’s my suggestion to even things out – if there any lefties out there in bass chat land who would be interested in having an Overwater built – we will make it for 10% less! Chris
Nice one Chris. One of your Jazz basses is top of my list!! D.
8. £30 all in is all I can stretch to at the moment. Good luck with the sale. cheers D.
9. Can you do them for £30 inc? If so I'll take them please.. cheers D. PS - Actually - will they fit a Jazz bass? If not, I'll pass.
10. If you ever want to sell that Jazz bass, I have a very good home for it here. D.
11. I have the newer version of this and it's a fantastic cab - light, loud and very tight on the bottom end. I love mine!! I'd consider this if I had a use for it.. D.
12. JHS sell these under the GYC brand - around 3.00 or so for the 6" version. D.
13.
So sorry mate another Basschatter confirmed payment just minutes before you. H.
Even though I asked if you'd be kind enough to hold them for me...? That's why dealing with sales via PM is such a bad idea and needs to be changed! Thanks anyway. D.
14. I'll take them anyway.......... D.
15. I can only find info on the JMVC4FE/M2. Is this what they are? cheers D.
16. Can you hold these for me until I find out more about them - can't seem to find any info atm! Pair of Delano Js - model JMVC4FE/ME - (boxed, unused - cancelled order) - £75 D.
17. I can't pinpoint the problem for you, but there's something wrong somewhere, that's for sure. Would there be much of a difference in output level between the main out jacks and the XLR out on the Ampeg? D.
18.
Cheers, it's just via a sansamp, DI'ed my amp too, but the sansamp sounded best.
Just been listening to your music - I really like it. If you ever fancy a gig up here, let me know..... cheers D.
19.
You working tomorrow (Thursday)? Its the first chance I am gonna get.
Aye!! From 1 onwards..... D.
20. Drop it into me at the shop! D.
21.
Steady now lets not get carried away.
Nice job on finishing this one off, it looks fantastic!! D.
22. Fantabulous!! Maybe Alan will get started on mine now D.
23. I seen this a few weeks a go down at Alans - very nice. It was still a bit rough round the edges and was waiting for the finishing magic, but it did look so nice. Alan has a commission from me on the basis of this and the Lazarus bass. My wait is going to be a bit longer though... D.
24. Well, it looks like there's a new BC website and the direct link no longer works. However, I did put the part # in my first post, 12HPL64, so you should be able to find out more using that. D.
25. Well, I used them with a Superfly, but now have 2 Yamaha 2x10's for that. I also have the TecAmp rig, so these are sitting doing nothing. I've had an offer for them via PM, but I'm open to all offers....no trades though unless it's for a quality Hi-Fi headphone amp.... cheers D.
