  1. Been after an 8 string for a while now, didnt want to spend too much on one knowing it wouldn't get that much use, so just been down to Manchester to pick this up. Great construction, great sound and really nice player.
  2. Anyone got any experience or advice? I have been offered one but the compressor doesnt work. Is there anything to be wary of and what is the current going rate? Cheers Dave

  6. Its funny how most people want flexibility in an instrument. I have had and still got basses with 2 pickups, blend pots and eq on, yet i set one sound and leave it at that, ALWAYS. My main gigging basses are an overwater 4 and musicman. I can get the sound i want with both these basses and never touch the controls. I don't think i could see a need to change them. I think that's why I'm satisfied with one pickup on a stingray, if i can get my sound with a bass that's all i need.
  7. Both now on Ebay, will withdraw if anyone here wants them. My 35" scale length 6-string feels big enough...[/quote] No not all. the neck is set into the body quite well so it has never felt too big to me. The bass has a really nice balanced feel standing or sitting. And after all, which bloke didnt wish he had an extra 2" Cheers Dave
