1. No other outputs apart from seperate 8ohm or 4ohm load... it's pretty sparse round the back (why didn't I photo the back???). Anyway, it's like this.

3. *** REDUCED TO £275 Inc DELIVERY *** This Vacuum Tube DI is the remake of the famed AMPEG SVT DI made by the original designer Obeid Khan. The jack 'thru' output (which can feed your stage amp in addition to the XLR house DI) includes the tube circuit in the signal path. Good condition and works perfectly. 4. I always try and match the radius of the fingerboard. I do this mainly by how it feels so that the same string attack gives the same results on each string. This does mean that the radius slightly lifts with the thicker strings which require a little more room to vibrate.
5.
I never use mine!
Whip it off and sell it to me
6. It's pretty amazing really that no one has manufactured a quality aftermarket bridge with built-in adjustable mutes. My favourite is probably the Musicman which you cannot buy separately. The Ric bridge is 'ok' when set up but may require niggly preparation work due to only having adjustments per side and the foam strip getting caught on the housing. I'm not sure if the material Ric uses is the best mute material either. One thing though - the mute is a secret weapon to great bass tone. I'm sure someone could design a great muting bridge if they put their mind to it. Musicman did.
7.
I called them yesterday afternoon to ask about the possibility of buying it at the old price but they said that they couldn't now sell it for that. And you're right, this is a pre price rise amp. Unfortunately they were a little vague as to why they couldn't sell it at the old price point. The guy I spoke to was very helpful and almost apologetic about the rise but after speaking to the manager he said they just couldn't do it. I got the feeling that their hands are tied, but by who, I can only speculate.
Strange. Maybe the manager doesn't have the power to overule head office or something. Shops are free to sell at whatever price they want although advertised prices are generally consistant across different shops and would reflect any fresh stock ordered.
8. I came VERY close to pulling the trigger on this one. Gaz is a great guy to deal with!
9.
Watch if you accept an offer on ebay; iirc the 'total' in fees if someone pays by paypal is 15%. Even 15% on your listing fee of £3000 = £2550 cleared for you.
I think ebay fees are capped at £250. Then you have the 4% or whatever of Paypal. Still a lot of money. I had a bit of luck recently on a £5k item when the buyer inadvertantly paid by echeque through Paypal - the Paypal fee was just £30. Well, unless I've yet to discover something else.
10.
I'm watching this same clip on BBC 4 just now... small world. Something doesn't sound right about this track. Are the vocal harmonies out of tune or the keyboards with the rest of the instruments? I'm guessing that wasn't the studio cut they were playing along to! A bit low-key for the Stranglers. no?
No that's pretty much the studio version. Funny you should mention the harmonies as I think I had the same thought in 1983. After a few listens it became right :-) And yes it's a BB2000 with Roto 77s I think. This album was the transition to flatwounds.
11. NOW SOLD. Thanks for the interest.
12. These are fantastic little practice amps. The drum beats are a real nice addition!
13. Holiday Bump. Still available though my trades are sorted now so cash only for a supreme bit of kit.
14. Well... I'd been wanting to get one of these for a while. Two days ago I ordered a brand new 63P which now rules me out at this time. Life is like that sometimes !!
15. Oops, sorry this is sold now. Ended up selling locally.
