  1. Phil is a friend of mine (and an incredible bass player which is why his phone rang so much back then - he was very nearly in Pink Floyd but that's another story) and yes, that 1982 summer tour was incredible, best band I've seen to this day. It's all captured on the live album 'Warrior Rock'. The earlier 'Shostring' lineup was very good also. Great exciting music. Sadly the Toyah of today (including her current live band) are no comparison at all to the 79-82 era - when it was all at it's peak - and Toyah was the name of the band.
  2. Lawrence was a real pleasure to deal with. No issues whatsoever. Good comms and a smooth transaction. thanks Loz!
  3. Spector is still available. It's a beauty as the pics show and plays like butter!
  4. Shipping to the Netherlands is no problem fendurt.
  5. NOW SOLD. Looking to free up some cash for another bass guitar purchase... you know how it is. Here is my Bergantino B|AMP bought brand new from Bass Direct before Christmas. By the looks of things they don't import them anymore. Shame really as Berg stuff is top notch as you'll be aware. This one has never been gigged and never moved either... hence the protective plastic is still on the screen. This is boxed and 'as new' as it gets. No marks, no issues. Not looking for trades... ONLY an Aguilar AG700 plus cash adjustment might interest me... or a high-end tube amp like Monique or similar. There I go again..lol. Not looking for anything else. 6. Now SOLD, thanks.
  7. A bump is overdue! I recently recorded it and it sounds steller but I just bought a Ric... you know how it is.
  8. Located in Doncaster Dougal. Will edit the post to include it.
  9. Available for sale is my Canadian Dingwall ABZ 4 string in purple. It's a passive bass but with exceptional control via the four-position pickup selector knob which goes from P-like to J-like including the typical Dingwall setting inbetween. Body is lightweight Ash and neck is maple with a Wenge fingerboard. Also features locking jack. Very easy to play and has great clarity due to the fanned frets. Comes with good quality Dingwall gigbag.
  10. NOW SOLD. This is a chance to purchase a really gorgeous Spector that is as new as acquiring it just before Christmas and it being a case queen since - in other words - excellent condition. I saw an Andertons video and was knocked out by how beautiful this particular bass looked, made an enquiry and lo and behold the one in their warehouse was the exact same one with the same lovely quilt(?) top. It plays like butter with a lovely buzz-free low action. Comes with a quality Andertons gigbag which just like the bass, hasn't left the house as I've been using my passive basses when playing out - and I've decided passive is where I'm going to stay. Open to close offers. Possible trades considered - Aguilar AG700. Bass is located in Doncaster. Can courier no problem.
  11. I don't have a problem with Fender reinventing the past it IS what they do best. I just don't see the point of these... replacing the AV line with something that isn't a vintage reissue is neither here nor there. I thought Fender were doing just fine with the AVRI line. Changing the years occasionally and offering classic colours had more mileage and kudos I would have thought. So now the Mexican basses are more accurate.. wot?
  12. Dealt with Paul - nice and straightforward. Good comms and a pleasure to deal with
  13. Just a heads up... it might go Tuesday... it might not! Let me know if you are interested should a deal not happen.
  14. I acquired this lovely Music Man Stingray Classic on here about a month ago but I'm going to stick with my passive basses. I'll be looking for what I paid for it which is £1249 (plus shipping). Nothing wrong with the bass, I'm running a tight ship so it's available again. I might consider a passive Dingwall in trade.. not sure yet. I'll use the same photos... bass hasn't been gigged or anything since I bought it. It's in exactly the same fine condition. NOW SOLD THANKS
  15. Little bump for a price reduction.
  16. Available again due to some complications with payment / shipping outside EU.
  17. AND SOLD. THANKS ALL.
