  1. Did you ever figure this out? I've got the same issue now
  2. Hey folks, seen a few wanted ads so thought I'd post it here... Someone's selling a new superlight sandberg on ebay that ends tomorrow, it's expensive but would avoid the 12 month wait if someone is willing to pay for it... Looks like its also 3.1kg so guaranteed to be one of the lighter fivers https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/155426755099?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=PKwORsqGS2W&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=PKwORsqGS2W&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  3. What's the weight?
  4. Thanks for all the helpful advice. Bass Gallery should really change their website
  5. Hi all, I am considering making an online purchase from the Bass Gallery, but their returns Ts&Cs are putting me off. They are saying no returns, even for online purchases. I am concerned that, as buying blind online, there is a slim chance that I might wish to return the bass. It is not a small purchase (>£1400). Are they going against UK law?
  6. Interesting, did you dispute through Ebay or Paypal?
  7. Thanks for the replies. I imagine I will have to post the bass back, at my expense. Coupled with the fact that I already paid a lot for postage initially. Does anyone know whether it would be better to go through Ebay or Paypal, seeing as I can't do both (I assume)?
  8. Hi all, I have purchased a bass that was not as described and want to return it. The seller is being unresponsive and unhelpful. There seems to be two avenues to dispute it, one being on Ebay and the other being Paypal. In the past, in the rare instances I had a problem, I raised a Paypal dispute and it was always straightforward. Has anyone raised an Ebay dispute? How do they compare? What is to stop someone raising both? Thanks for any insight
  9. Would something like this work? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/141494557168
  10. Hi all, I have this on my board, but its 5v mini usb so currently I have to power it separately, which is super annoying. Is there such thing as a 5v to 9v converter, so I can power it off my daisy chain? https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B08393DLGV/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_image?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Thanks!
  11. Thanks - do you think 19mm would be possible?
  12. What's the string spacing at the bridge?
  13. No love for the Legacy?
  14. So I haven't really found a viable option yet either here or in the link mention previously, for posting a £700 bass (in a soft case & cardboard box) within the UK, fully insured. Pretty crazy
  15. That only seems to cover £125
  16. I'm struggling with who to use. Royal Mail won't take it because it's too big, and Parcelforce won't insure it. Who else can I use? Thanks
  17. I have looked at the Sire but they've all been too heavy
  18. Thanks!
  19. Hi all, Does anyone have any insured courier recommendations for posting a bass within the UK? I purchased one off ebay and the seller has asked for close to £100. Thanks
  20. Thanks, I usually buy used but prices seem to have shot up, whereas places like Peach Guitars have very good new prices
  21. Haven't been able to find one used unfortunately. Think I'd prefer the humbuckers to single coils... I play heavy rock
  22. It was this one https://reverb.com/item/64478379-mtd-kingston-z-5-bass?utm_source=android-app&utm_medium=android-share&utm_campaign=listing&utm_content=64478379
  23. Thanks for the input. I'd actually love a Lakland 55-02, but every one I've seen has been over 9lbs A Fender Jazz is another nice option but they're typically over £1000
