  2. in a band thats loud a small combo for me will always struggle, markbass stuff is great had a lm2 for years into a 610hlf ampeg and it was super loud! if your not worried about the weight that rig will be great tbh, for me im just in a place where i deal with moving larger cabs as for me they do just sound bigger.......
  3. If anyone is into the heavy stuff in the south west (plymouth) playing a show at the Underground in a few weeks
  4. I run a boss ps-3 now but my fave is a moog clusterflux….. however that’s not really viable and I’ve taken mine of my board to protect it tbh
  5. the underneath just have always on cali76bc and my ml5 morningstar which is in the loop of a damnation blooper to give a bit of low end help to the big muff, bdpg and a bongripper(also underneath) oh and a sy-200 controlled by midi which only feed foh but i do run it and my normal signal into the obne to let me monitor it thru my cab if i want. fighting the urge to either go Gig Rig Atom atm one extra loop but would let me access more presets aswell. Also setting up a really small board to go ontop of my amp/amps depending on project and have a dd200 and rv500 in stereo (when i have two amps) to add maddness inbetween songs which the extra presets would help with just purely control them via midi
  6. ive been close but the 8ohm powered kemper is limiting as all my cabs are 4ohms so thinking power amp might but then i have side glances at the QC
  7. think its basically just volume which tbh you wont hear, but the output meter is what make me interested in the 750
  8. does anyone know if the Abm evo V 750 is out yet?
  9. i used to have a hd112 (its a 12' not 15') was really happy, but was to small for my needs, have played on gig with someone using BF and it sounded great but it was a Big Twin so more comparible for me wit an 810/215 i would also say if you look hard enough you will always find bad reviews in particular in forums where if one thing fails for said person the whole brand is bad, i guess it depends on your budget as a BF cab is a pricey thing to get and not like? just to through another name in the hat Markbass could be worth a shout.
  10. 100%, im going of people that ive seen commenting similar to the demo its not getting a sound they want or cant do a normal Jaguar sound however in this studio pick the strings look in a similar spot and Mike doesnt seem to fussed
  11. But I think with a bit of a better setup those saddles I’m guessing that alignment won’t be an issue, my comment on the sig was more down to the sound Mike Kerr wants will def not be what 90% of bassist want
  12. Love these Amps one will def split back to being a backup as ill hopefully soon get hold of an Abm 600 or 1200 but they sound great.
  13. the d and g string on that bridge the sadlle do appear to be heading of to the right a bit adjusting the e and a to the left would of given a bit of a better result, i do agree tho sadly its a sig instrument......you are going to get something close to what the artist wants not a standard bass also that config is very different to standard. i think hes a cool reviewer but im not sure how he records but my guess given alot of things do sadly seem to sound very similar theres some post processing being done, so its super hard to take this demo as a sound of the bass. ive seen a few other demos where is sounds killer, mainly mike kerr on a live stream lol
  14. my bands guitarist are both modeller guys QC and Kemper but both use FRFR cabs live to have onstage sound, in smaller cap venues this makes a massive difference!!! im somewhere inbetween, send a nice di and can be silent if needed but much prefer having a 215 behind me.
  15. genuinely not as bad as it looks everything on castors and the sounds makes up for it, also using the smaller head is helpful
  16. I’m guessing this picture might trigger many in here, I actually really dug the 215 610 combo…..normally I would only use a 215 but now actually sorting a 2nd 610 for this project ( it’s just me and drums)
  17. any off the big name multi effects will do you well, probs find a secondhand boss or zoom for cheap
  18. There’s loads of videos of his rig, remember he isn’t stood in front of them in a pub, he’s a fair distance, Nate doesn’t strike me neither do foos to be a band who is having unusd cabs on stage
  19. i know at one point nate was using 2 BTA 400 still think hes an ashdown guy, as im sure ive read somewhere ashdown are making him some custom 910's
  20. and thats your opinion, im 99.9% certain none of the cabs on stage for the foos are for the look. if they want to be loud on stage and have big amp rigs then they are in the position and venues to be able to do it, even if whats being used for the foh is something of stage, its what makes them comfortable! it doesnt need to make sense to anyone but in this case nate onstage

  22. it'll be for stage volume, Foos are very loud, i know they use IEM but im sure ive seen all members at some point in videos with out them in. silent stages work for some not for the Foo's obviously
  23. Super happy with this little thing, even at 8ohms it was plenty loud into a 410 for a back line only gig tonight I’ve actually found a second as I wanna start taking advantage of the dual power Amps in a project where I can run alot of cabs
