1. Oh, nuts - go on then. I'll take one, please. I have your payment details, and I'll sort it out tomorrow - pm'd to this effect, too.
2. Top man. I drove all the way to Darlington (entirely my choice) for a bass guitar swap, and I walked away with a Fender P bass that Aidan had owned and set up. However, this is the most perfectly set up bass I've ever had, and this one really is a keeper! Thanks Aidan, cracking bass, and I love it to bits. Nice guy too.
3. I'm selling a TC RS410 cab and cover, bought from this very forum. It's an awesome cab in very good condition, but it's more than I need, truth be told. A RS210 or RS212 will be more than sufficient. RS410 Tech Specs Dimensions: W x H x D 664 x 596 x 427mm Weight: 37 kg / 82 lbs Power handling: 600 Watt Enclosure: 18mm plywood side panels, 18mm rounded carved hardwood corners Surface treatment: 'Anti-skid' dual component surface Porting: Dual front porting Woofer: Eminence custom 10" Tweeter: Eminence 33mm voicecoil, titanium diaphragm Tweeter adjustment: L-pad (off - 0dB) Impedance: 8 Ohm I'm happy to meet within 50 miles or so of Birmingham for a nominal fuel contribution, or a bit further for a bit more. No trades please, unless it's for a RS210 or RS212, and photos to follow.
4. Here goes: my Ampeg SVT3 Pro USA in a 2U Proel case is up for sale. Everything works very well, and the Proel case keeps it safe and sound. It's a fabulous amp and something of a reluctant sale, but hey ho. The Proel has carry handles on both sides and is easy enough to carry. There are also zip pockets in the end covers for cables etc. 450 watts at 4ohms, 275 watts at 8ohms. 5 position mid-selector, 9-band graphic. Dimensions (W x H x D inches): 19 x 3.5 x 15.5 Weight: 26 Pounds Ampeg site spec here. I'm happy to deliver within a 50 mile radius of Birmingham for a small contribution to my fuel, or further afield for a fair contribution. May trade for something Orange or something else not orange - PM me - if you don't ask....... I've borrowed the photos, and the tuner is not included.
5. My Ampeg cab yearning is returning, so: Barefaced Super 12 (non tweeter model) for sale, excellent condition (bar one handle that I'm replacing, usual problem I believe) and had Roqsolid cover. Prefer to deliver - I live near Birmingham - and happy to go halves on the fuel costs, within reason!! Here's the specs: DIMENSIONS 30" H x 19.5" W x 13.5" D 76cm x 48cm x 34cm WEIGHT 40lbs/18kg (Super Twelve) BROADBAND SENSITIVITY 102dB - louder than many 4x10" cabs USABLE FREQUENCY RANGE 37Hz - 4kHz RECOMMENDED AMP POWER 150-1200W RMS MAX CONTINOUS BROADBAND SPL 130dB - Louder than most 4x10s and many 4x12s NOMINAL IMPEDANCE 4 ohms Here's the photos (ignore the scaling faux pas):
6. Must........resist........or she'll kill me. Please, someone buy this, and remove the temptation!!
7. I've shopped with Alex twice now, and can vouch for his all round 'good bloke to deal with' qualities, although he does keep taking money off me! Nice guy, terrific gear, and a pleasure to deal with.
8. Bought nothing whatsoever off John, ever. Well, not yet, anyways. However, he was an invaluable source of information and advice when I started mulling over changing my amp and speakers, and I sought his opinion as he had what I was considering buying, and I feel I ought to put something on here to say thank you, and to let others know what a genuinely helpful guy he is. Top guy. Phil
9. I bought a TC RS212 cab off Ross, and we agreed to meet in Leicester where he was gigging (phew - closer to Birmingham than Glasgow) and despite the best efforts of the thousands of Leicester Tigers rugby fans, we pretty much met at the agreed time. Top man, a pleasure to deal with, the cab is terrific, and he's a thoroughly nice guy too.
10. Agreed a bass swap deal with Karl for his USA Jazz. Good comms throughout, he moved the half way meet closer to where I live due to a commitment I had, a thoroughly good guy and a delight to sit and exchange bass stories with in a salubrious motorway service station. Oh, and the bass? Firkin' wonderful!!! Many thanks Karl, it was a pure pleasure, sir.
11. Oops, incredibly overdue feedback entirely due to my forgetful nature, but here goes: Traded a Stingray for Stuart's ACG Finn 4 and found him to be a top guy to deal with. Very honest and friendly, and the ACG was in excellent condition, exactly as described. I shall shop here again, no doubt!
12. I'll take the TC Ditto Looper, please. PM me your payment details. Phil
13. A typically tasty USA 'ray in the even tastier black with maple neck colour scheme. Good condition, some minor marks but I'd rate it as 6.5 to 7 out of 10. Comes with Stingray 5 hard case. Accepted as a trade in a sale, but as I already have one, I'm looking move it on. Trades? Hmmm - USA Sterling, USA Jazz, USA Precision with a slim neck, a Geddy Jazz, or just try me.
