  1. Now reduced to £700 Reluctant sale, but there's this Warwick, you see.......so no trades. For sale my Sandberg VM 4 in natural ash. Sandberg P and MM pickups. Delano active circuit. Low action, lovely player. Completely mint and no dings. Complete with GigBag. Weight is just over 4kilos, or just over 9lbs in old money. Any trial welcome, I'm close to Bromsgrove and Redditch, near SW Birmingham. Happy to do a half way meet within reason.
  2. Yes, but there is that laser......and there's this guitarist.........maybe, just maybe........
  3. Hmmm. I think he's asking what he paid for it. I think I'll leave it.
  4. Due to being made during the Fatneckolithic period, I'' guessing?
  5. Does anyone know anything about this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2006-Warwick-Thumb-4-String-Bass-Guitar-Custom-Mono-M80-Bag-/152281340095?hash=item2374acd8bf:g:SGcAAOSwzaJYAlZD I'm seriously tempted. It was in BassDirect, but I couldn't get down there to try it; did anybody actually have a go on it? The seller seems genuine enough, according to his feedback. Thanks, Phil
  6. ..and sold, please close. Sorry, Mr Greek.
  7. I've just bought an Ampeg SVT410HLF cab from Chris in what was an entirely pleasurable transaction. He was even able to help with moving the cab to my neck of the woods. Happy to recommend Chris as a thoroughly decent bloke and all round top chap to any other perspective shoppers, and I'm sure I'll be buying from him again when the opportunity arises.
  8. Alfie Noakes here - I was just passing and saw this thread. Happy to vouch for both the guitar and the seller too. Shop with confidence, I did. Three times, actually!
  9. Just sold my Orange 410 cab to Simon, and it was a thoroughly pleasant experience. Good comms, even when he was in the cinema (!), and very prompt payment and collection. Top chap, and best wishes to you.
  10. Please close / lock; now sold.
  11. Orange OBC 410 - 600 Watts, 8 ohms, complete with cover. Very good condition, but I'm just not using it. Can deliver within reasonable distance of Birmingham, for fuel contribution where necessary. It's a bit heavy for a courier! May trade - whatcha got? PM me, please.
  12. Traded my P bass for John's Thumb BO4, and John was a pleasure to deal with throughout. Terrific comms, an excellent meet (two dodgy geezers with gun shaped cases in the cafe part of Oxford train station - I'm sure there were worried people around us!), and we've both walked away very happy with the swap. Happy to recommend John to anyone, he's a top guy.
  13. Bump for a great person to deal with - I've shopped here three times now, and can thoroughly recommend this new BassChatter.
  14. Yes please. I'll PM you my address.
  15. Top man. Sold Nick my Orange Bass Terror, and it was a pleasure. Prompt payer, good comms, great guy - thank you, Nick, and all the best!
  16. I've just acquired my dream amp, the Orange AD200 mk3, but I have a cab dilemma. I know from experience that I want/need a 410 but can't decide berween the Orange OBC410 or the Ampeg 410HLF. Will I get the best results matching Orange with Orange, or will an Ampeg cab make my Orange head sound well, like an Ampeg? The Ampeg has an adjustable tweeter, and wheels, and looks good in black (I might re-Tolex the Orange head if I get an Ampeg cab) but will it detract from the Orange sound? The Orange is more likely to bring out the best from the amp, or will it? For what it's worth, I play a Fender P in a classic rock band, and an active Sandberg in a Britpop band. Yup, split personality or what, but so long as I wear the right t-shirt on the right night, all is well :-) So, any pointers chaps? Anyone actually been here and done this?? All advice gratefully received.
  17. Works perfectly, complete with good quality cover. 400 watts and 8 ohms. A bit grubby, with a few small nicks to the tolex. No trades please, but any trial welcomed. Happy for a half-way meet within reason. Make that £230.
  18. Top guy, pleasure to deal with, and a thoroughly good chap. Cheers!
