4. Hi there i have decided to part with this gorgeous bass because i need funds as we have just re launched b sharp duo and gear needs to be bought. Other than a small mark on the upper horn that looks like a small scrape (about 10mm) id say easy to put fix but it did not bother me.. its pretty much mint. It also comes with the push pull vintage tone pot as well....Its stunning, no B rash nice neck, stunning bass.....Im looking for a quick sale so £875 bank transfer/cash cheque....and post is £25 that is secured next day delivery with a fragile container. 9.
Holy hell! When did they start making those in 5-strings? Only reason I never got one was because I didn't need a 4-string. It's even got the proper classic 4-over-1 config I adore with the huge tuners!!! ...I want one!
highly recommend mate n iv had many top basses
 10. HEY ALL IN MY MANY YEARS PLAYING I'VE HAD MANY OF THE TOP BASSES OUT THERE, (sorry caps) and while buying the new TC BG250 combo (great) I saw this Squier bass in the corner, just asking to be played, I played a few runs on it and I was hooked had to get it. I really cannot fault this bass, it looks feels and sounds awesome, and in all fairness i cannot see how these are so cheap, seems every bit as well made as a bass costing 100s more.....anyways. worth a look. 12.
I don't really know the answer to this, but my gut feeling is that the 'groove' can live in an elastic band, let alone a many-thousand-pound wonder-bass... Seriously, I've been moved to dance to someone slapping a shoebox with feeling. The 'problems' (such as they may be) are probably lack of practice/groove and not much to do with the instrument... Keep playing, the groove can be released by someone bashing the table top with a biro....
Hey MAte most spectors are very high quality instuments but their are ones made in china, but still good. It sounds like it just does not suite you, and that happens to all of us....Try sitting down does it feel any better ? if so, could be to do with the strap. If its really not for you try and sell and get something thats right for you.....Many spectors get sold on here....good luck.
 13. great thanks for that...so i was pretty bang on with me guesstimate! i agree with the attack, for a passive bass, it really punches through but not in a middly dry way more of an even tone than that....TB fair i should spend more time, see if i wanna keep it for me but im really not a 4 string player....Great so £400 it is! if i get offered 4 ill take it!! but anything less i will hand on to it...its a real beut...I was wondering what that key was....id say its better than exellent, i cant see 1 ding/paint chip/discoloration anywhere, its like it was stuck in its case for the last 28 years...maybe it was.....
 14.
The kit should comprise: a snap-lock button pouch, with printed APII branding; an owner's manual; a guarantee card; two Allen keys; a tuner torque tool; and an APII branded cleaning cloth. Complete kits don't come along that often. The last one I spotted was with a 700, from '80, which sold for the equivalent of £328. Without the kit the usual price would be closer to £300, in good condition. The case looks clean, but it's the later (green-lined) version. The first version had red lining. The green-lined version usually doesn't add much to the value. Realistic pricing would be between £350 and £400. Anything over that might be a touch optimistic. Many BCers out there who have gotten excited and paid over the odds for an SB, and not been able to realise their investment when they come to sell. With this example, I'd be tempted to put it up on eBay, to give it as wide an audience as possible. If you do, be prepared to post internationally, as I can see this one heading off to the US.
great thank you for that, id be happy with £375 i guess, but in no real rush to sell, it really is that nice. I has all you mentioned apart from pouch, everthing seems to be there even that strange key thingy!! no wont ebay it, to be fair im quite happy to let it sit on the stand, i may put light strings on with that action n neck it would make a great slap machine.......Thanks for that so bottom line between £350-£400...so id be asking for £375. I think condtion wise its top of the tree, very nice nik......Thanks again Pal..
 15. .....theres tools a blue card cloth aria hang tag garnatee card but not a poch only a bag that it seems fits the pw, tools cards..was sold in 1980 in bristol i think it said on the blue garantee card...thats all thats there and a key for the case.
 16.
Rules of the forum state you must give a price and not invite offers.
OH SORRY I SHOULD KNOW THAT BY NOW !! 17. ps this is def one for the aria collectors as condition simpley amazing for its age, its a supream funk/rock bass id say, neck very fast action low narrow neck (built for the hands of jap guys, thats true from the site) If im way off the mark with my price guess of £450, then she stays right here!! :-)
 18. Hi there please see this link for photos discription and video http://basschat.co.uk/topic/185982-help-with-value-of-near-mint79-aria-sb/page__p__1793708#entry1793708 07757875566 thanks.
 19. Hi chaps i have a georgeous aria sb600 1979 compleat with case original (with logo) and pw cleaning cloth even the registration card. It was bought in 1980. Now im thinking of selling to fund an ampeg cab, but then again not sure as its simply amazing and so is condition, everything on it original chrome wood shiny like new case clean no rips pw like new.......so im guessing about £400 ? would this be about right, although i would even go to £450? TBH im not fussed about selling as its that good. It is the earleir version with bolt neck and old head stock (matching sunburst) sound is fantstic as you can hear on the vid.....so i know theres a few guys on here that know alot more about these basses than i do, but i have done a fair bit on it over the net...have not seen one of this age with all the bump in this v near mint condition. cheers...... 20. Selling this awesome bass as i just got a stunning jap trb 5 and this need to go. The bass is in fantastic condtion as is the case and has the NE-1 preamp (cut down version) with a great mid sweep on the fly. The bass has new strings on and was recently set up by Chris, the tequ. from bass center, and its playing low and silky smooth. This has been my gigging bass of choice simply because it ticks all the boxes..these basses are a gem and the price is ridiculos and holds its own against many basses costing much much more, take a look at the reviews. Im looking for £200 for the bass and case and £20 next day courier. Will take bank transfer/cash/cheque and will be posted on day or next day via 24 hour service. it is a great machine and a little gem. Any other qs call 07757875566 or post em here. Bass 35 inch scale string spacing very comfy great for slap action nice and low, frets a1 no buzz body work 97% case very good no issues at all with this gear. dings 1 or 2 small ones buckle rash none metal work gold and very good sound awesome from slap to deep bass action low scale 35 strings 45-125 new case decent well lined and very good nik electrics all fine, still has the protective plastic on the black electrics cover era..i guess early 2000's set up recent
