1. Bump,£480 with hard case, can ship on Parcelforce 48hr at £15
 2.
I never listened to any of Mick's solo stuff, so I'll go grab that album after a quick listen on t'tube. Knew he'd played on Numan's Dance album with Pino Palladino doing some other of Numan's fretless work around that time. Anyway, much appreciated pointing me at that album, cheers.
No probs,i bought Titles on cassette when it came out,it was the days of the Walkman, I took it down the pub on the Friday,it was the pre- rock club crowd and passed it round. The first track Tribal dawn just blew everyone away!
 3.
Can't echo the sentiments in here enough - nothing like him. OK, Angie Bowie aside (actually, I really don't mind what she does here) - I'm mesmerised by this bassline and his playing... ridiculously good...ok, the Alice band might be a step too far but how cool is this?
That bass line is on Titles iirc
 4.
Meddle posted that ..post #19
Missed it ,bit of a boob

 6. Same as others think as far as not being much use live,i got a Guvnor off a guy who owed me money and its got a lovely feel to it,i find it handy for learning songs in the house. You tube on low and you cutting above
 7.
What model do you have? My MV5 is 9 lbs 2. Not a featherweight but lighter than my previous fives.
Metro vintage 4 with the block fretboard, never weighed it but its way heavier than my old and new Fender stuff.Wide strap saves the day It's just the quality of tone and sound live.I got compliments immediately from the band and sound guys .
 8. Made all the other Tims out there almost cool
 9.
The Metro is made in Japan, where the cost of living and labour is incredibly expensive. My Metro is as good as any NYC that I've tried, the only thing it doesn't have that I wish it did was a chambered body. In every other respect it compares very well. (I do also own an NYC S-type guitar. The two are both fantastic)
Agree,my metro feels and looks and sounds amazing but its a ton weight!
