    I sold my pedal board some time ago and rationalised on the Zoom, TC Helicon Mic Mechaic and Smoothound Radio system. The power supply I used to use was not isolated and when all three were powered, there was a noise. So I decided to build a new wooden pedal board with bespoke power supply. It is till in the planning stage.. hence the batteries

    This is Marshall’s ED1 otherwise known as Edward the Compressor. This was originally designed for guitar but the expert on compressors http://www.ovnilab.com/reviews/marshall.shtmlsays it’s OK in its unmodded form but can be modded for bass as described by Stinkfoot. https://stinkfoot.se/archives/1635 This is a nice Compressor for a pedal board but I no longer use a pedal board so it’s someone else’s gain. I was going to put it on Ebay but forgot. If not sold by Sunday 9th it is going to the SW Bassbash It comes with two bases, one the original with the flap for the battery or the one I made to make it easy to Velcro to the pedal board. The case is in almost perfect condition.

    Took my Zoom B1 Four to rehearsal last night and .... nothing. I had a fresh set of batteries but had to use my BD!21 as backup. At the end I plugged the guitarist's power supply in and it sporang to life. Duff batteries I thought.However just to check one last time, I plugged a jack plug into the input and it booted properly. Has anyone else had this? If I were superstitious I would say it got the hump as I was drooling over a B6 earlier

    I have to be honest when my Sound City 120 was stolen, only my back was pleased. However since I swapped to bass I never really felt the need for a thermionic valve loaded amplifier. Good luck with your quandry.

    Hi, I spent many days looking for a way to delete attachments as I had reached my quota. I only found the check boxes when told by a fellow basschatter. The checkboxes are barely visible in the dark theme.

    Wow 80 pounds sounded expensive until i spoke to my fiend Boris, Apparently we used pounds for weight too, up until 50 years ago. However and now being serious (something my fiend Boris struggles with) 36.4Kg is 10 Kg over the guidelines for safe manual lifting. In my old industry that was called transportable rather than portable. On a serious note, would you not get the same or similar tone with a decent pre-amp, Say a Sansamp?

    On the dark theme, the box is all but invisible, however I found them and have cleared out enough to make things workable. Thank you.

    I wonder why they have chosen the AG prefix, surely it creates confusion with Aguilar's model numbering?

    2x sets of 4 Hipshot USA ultralite HB6Y 3/8” in black , never fitted as new. Are they 4 in line or 2L 2R?

    It took me 67 years to find a band with no egos, still a few fragile souls that take too much to heart, but generally a good crowd. I am 70 now but we gigging ow and are booking for next year so don't give up.

    I must admit, living in the far south of England, a trip too far north for me would be a real trek. I do love the South West Bash each year although I had to miss last years due to a rare gig. Even that is a good drive away from me. being close to equidistant from the South East Bash.
