1.
It's the 'stealth' model All black,..
Probably wouldn't show up in a picture anyway!
 2.
A top day. Thanks to those who organised it so well. I am glad I took my earplugs though.....
Likewise! Feeling a bit pooped now
 3. Superb day! Great to meet the people behind the avatars, amazed to find that xilddx's avatar is in fact his passport photo! Didn't expect the pastries either. Although I did find myself GASing after a few things, the overall effect was to reduce my GAS list by giving me the opportunity to try things I thought I wanted, and then find that I didn't after all. Thanks to everyone who let me try out their kit, in some cases putting one BCer's a amp head through another's cab! EDIT: spelling correction for [s]silddx[/s] [s]xilddx[/s] Nige.
 4. In addition to stands for my own basses, I am bringing a 3-space stand that will be marked FREE PARKING. Shockwave has first dibs on this for his Antigua P, after that if you have nowhere safe to park your bass, just look for the little signs.

 6. Only a matter of time before someone nominates their significant other
 7.
In that case I'll bring my GK MB200 as well as the TH500 as I'd like to hear how they sound with a Midget.
Most excellent!
 8.
I used to work in Leeds University & the guy who I reported to did all the PAT testing for the Uni. To do it he had a certificate & I would often help him do the testing. It's a small suitcase size machine that you plug electrical items into.....it switches on.....runs the test & you get a message to say it's done. It's really not hard to do at all.
I actually did a day's training on this ... About 15 years ago, so my competence has somewhat lapsed!
 9. The more I look at these the more I am reminded of the Variax bass but with pickup(s).
 10. Ooh I want something like this to go with my BF cabs.
 11.
I could probably manage disorderly at a push!
Oi! No pushing!
 12.
Hoping to have a play through a BF cab so you can add my Reidmar as well Bluejay.
I for one would be most interested to audition different heads through my BF Midget. Please form an orderly queue.
 13.
A friends band do really well out of it...and I was reluctant to go and see them as I had these pre-conceptions about material but they had such a good spin on numbers....that it was very entertaing. I think...or have learnt...that if you think the 60's is boring, then you are picking the wrong numbers What can be wrong with the Small Faces, Who and Stones..to start with...!!!
Yes a lot of it is down to how you approach the material. If you approach it as enjoying playing great songs, you are on a winner. If you think you are churning out the same old guff, you clearly are not!
 14.
I've got a serious amount of GAS for a 5 string P-Bass with a PJ configuration. I know they exist but they seem to be quite rare and not available new. Would it be wrong to get a normal one and have a competent fellow fit the jazz pickup? Not that I'm in a position to buy a P-Bass at the moment regardless of what sort it is, but you can't help thinking of these things can you?!
Look for a Sandberg VT5.
 15. Pre-bash bump Further trade options: GB Streamliner 600, Ampeg SVT 3 Pro, other hybrid heads considered, cash adjustment either way as appropriate.
 16.
I look forward to t[s]rying[/s] buying it.
Fixed.
 17. All helpful stuff. I'm going to try a few heads in shops, but not many delaers seem to stock the bigger Ampeg heads. any tips on where to go? I prefer not to buy blind on something like this!
 18. Been using a TC Polytune since they came out. Most excellent.
 19.
We have our T-shirts here now. £15 each cash on the day, should raise some money for the charity pot from the profits!
Don't forget to get some made up saying 'I hate Barefaced cabs' - that way you've got the T-shirt market covered!
