Here is my very nice Vintage bass bought off this site recently. It is lovely in vintage white and it plays and looks really nice. The hardware is rock solid Wilkinson and so is the pick up. The bass weighs about 9.5lbs which is 1.5 too heavy for me so it has to go. This is a really nice bass to use as a back up or if you just fancy a cheapy for a change. It has a couple of scuff marks that it came with and I think the previous owner thought they may have been caused by rubbing from a gig bag. I have shown the worst one which can't really be seen when you play and there is also a smaller one on top of the upper bout that only the player can see. They may be able to be removed with a bit if T Cut but I didn't want to try it. The bass has no fret wear or dings or knocks to the neck, it stays in tune and is pretty much unmarked apart from the black scuff marks already mentioned. I am based near Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire if you fancy a try out and a cuppa. Here is my excellent Ibanez SR500 for sale at £275 shipped in a hard foam Kinsman case to protect it. This is a beautiful bass with some lovely figuring to the body of the guitar that I haven't seen before on a SR500. It is set up nice and low and plays really well. It is very well balanced on the strap, has a two octave neck and there is no fret ware. The neck is slim, fast and free of any dings or marks. This bass will play any genre of music and is a delight to play. You are more than welcome to come and give it any trial. I live near Chipping Norton in Oxfordshire. Thanks for looking. A wet weekend bump

A little bump to help it along

Hello Paul This is a passive bass mate and really nice. I don't need to work it out, it makes sense to me in a bass players sort of way.

Here is my Harley Benton 2x12 extension cab loaded with Celestion Vintage 30 speakers. It has a Blackstar logo added to the front by the last owner but [b]it is NOT a Blackstar cab[/b]. It came from thomann and I don't think it is a available anymore. It used to retail at about £250. It sounds awesome, is rock solid and not too heavy. It has been gigged so has all the marks and knocks that you would expect but it is a very nice sounding solid work horse. It is fairly heavy so pick up would be best. Here is my excellent unmarked 2011 Fender Modern Player Jazz. It is lovely in a nice deep three colour sunburst with black scratch plate. The bass has a high mass bridge with brass saddles and humbucker pick ups with normal Jazz controls. It sounds awesome with lots of control from the tone pot. The neck is excellent and there is no fret wear. All in all it is very nice jazz bass with the advantage of the heavier sound available from the humbuckers.
