I went back to playing 4s after using 5 & 6 string for years , I find personally my playing is more dynamic on 4string as I have to go looking for notes ( if that makes sense )as when I played 6 string I could get lazy and stay in one position for entire songs , great for reading gigs when I used to do them , still miss a fiver from time to time ..

  5. I have my main basses and have had a floater shall we say , so I can experiment with basses I haven't owned yet . This is a great bass , i am a bit more traditional these days though , it just means I can try basses that I have not owned before hopefully 😀.. Cheers

Really fun to play , super light IMO,great access to upper frets . In great shape Apart from some scoring/buckle rash on back of body( from previous owner ) With Warwick Flightcase Custom build documents Warwick care kit. Weighs in at approx 3.5kg ....feels like a feather in comparison to my Jazzes.   8. I have the 4 string XJ , I don't think you would be disappointed Gareth.. Best bass I have ever owned for gigging with..(ex pro player) Would love this to go with my four string , but need to thin my collection not add to it..only depping these days...J

  15. Just bought this , I am trying to try basses I have never owned before and wanted to try a Warwick..could be an expensive journey. Rather liked the look of this so took a punt. Plays fab with great access to upper frets , with a nice mid growl and cool slap tone. It must be made with a very light piece of swamp ash as it is incredibly light !! Any of you Warwick users have any knowledge on this particular model ...info would be received with thanks . Cheers John
