1. BillyBass bought a bass from me. We agreed the sale and only four hours later he arrived to collect it, no messing about, I was very impressed. Top Basschatter, I wouldn’t hesitate to deal with again. Thank you for a smooth deal BillyBass hope you enjoy it.
 2. Take your pick or have them all if you like. I have 4 of the chrome finish for the strap side and a complete set in the brass finish with screws. A couple of quid should cover postage.
 3. One neck plate, four neck screws and, strangely, three of the plastic insulators. A couple of quid should cover postage.
 4. Tasty! 😋 You don’t see many of these around! Makes a nice change from all the Fenders & Sires. GLWTS
 5. Just bought a cab from GrahamD; quick replies, fast delivery and item as described. I’m a very happy basschatter. Thank you!
 6. If anyone else has a spare one of these PLEASE let me know. 🙂
 7. I've seen this instrument, it looks even better than in the photos. Very nice bass!

 15. Hello Basschatters, As I've recently mentioned, after moving from playing 6-strings I rebelled against myself and started playing 4-strings in a rebound kind of way... I think I rebounded too far and (predictably) I miss the low B. So here we are with a 4-string for sale. This is probably the best Fender I've ever played, much higher quality and more solid feeling and sounding than the older Fender stuff I've played, I was always a jazz bass person, and this almost converted me but I miss my more modern sounding basses with active electronics, especially for the kind of music I play most of the time. SETUP I can supply the bass with flats or round wounds, whichever you prefer. The neck is currently set up with a small amount of relief and a fairly low action, for a Fender, 3mm at12th fret for the E string. CONDITION

Very low fret wear (ask for photos, I will send them, no problem)
The bass has no dents.
There is one chip in the finish on the top edge, which hasn't damaged the wood below. (see pics)
There is one hairline surface scratch just above the pick guard. It's just about visible in the photo showing the chip. It's about 4mm above the pick guard and runs parallel with it. It isn't visible in normal conditions, you have to hold it at just the right angle towards the light. You wouldn't notice it unless I point it out, but I prefer to list everything up front rather than mention things later on, or hope you don't spot issues.
Truss rod is fully functional with zero damage/mangling of where a truss rod tool fits in the end of it.
The case is fully functional and in good condition too, no keys, but as someone once pointed out to me, if someone is going to take it, then they'll just take the whole case rather than looking conspicuous by carrying around a bass without a case.
GOOD POINTS

Fantastic, full sounding pickup, soooo much better than the one in a Highway One I once owned. I believe they are the Fender custom shop pickups in post 2010 USA Standards. 16. Hello basschatters, Here we have a metal box offering you a plethora of funky tones AND it's not just synths sounds here. It can do a wah kinda thing using the start and stop frequency sliders, a distortion kinda thing using the square-wave slider and probably loads of other stuff too. Actually one of my favourites is the 'dub' setting, which is very useable as it's like rolling the tone on you bass right off, sounds very cool. The unit is in very good condition. There are some small specks of missing paint, but they kind of look like it might have been like that when it was made rather than chips, see the photos. Oh, actually, looking again I've spotted one or maybe two small chips, not very noticeable, see photos. All of the controls are fully functional, no scratchy sounding or sticky pot-sliders. The LED functions as it should and the stomp button is very tough with a reassuring solid click, stronger than my MXR pedals, which lets you know when it has engaged. Comes with original box, instructions and a UK power supply. It is a 9V negative centre, like most other pedals. I'm selling to force myself to use a keyboard synth rather than a bass guitar with an effects pedal. Demo here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z-ctcBRcABY Cash on collection with trial/demo very welcome. 17. I sold a bass to Apothem this week. Everything was as good as you could ask for; quick replies to messages, no delay in paying and no messing about in any way. I am a very happy seller. Apothem is a top Basschater. Hopefully I can find something else for him to buy. :-)
 18. Hello everyone. After moving from playing 6-strings I rebelled against myself and started playing a 4-string in a rebound kind of way... I think I rebounded too far and (predictably) I miss the low B. So here we are with a 4-string for sale. As you can see in the photos it's in very good condition. There's as a good as zero fret-wear (maybe like shop ex-demo amount of wear) and it still has the plastic film covering the pick guard and battery cover. There is a ding (paint isn't broken and wood isn't showing) on the rear of the top horn near the strap button, so its not visible when playing or even when it's on a stand looking pretty. It's not as new, but it's pretty good. Weight: 9lbs 5oz, 4.25kg Good Points It's a nice bass and it plays very nicely with a buzz free low action. Feels very sturdy and good quality, like it's built to last Active passive option with passive tone control Graphite reinforced neck feeling very stable unlike some cheaper basses I've played. Nice neck with satin finish Bad Points Doesn't have a B string Only goes down to E, unless you de-tune Only has 4-strings More photos available, just message me. 19. Thestick bought a bass from me today. He gave regular updates throughout the process, replied to messages quickly and the transaction was super smooth. Lots of experience with gear info given to me too, which was a great bonus. Thank you!
