hey ... I lost the valcoder .. left in the taxi getting back home!
anyway, a free bump
Ah man! Sorry to hear that. Lets hope theres some decent people out there that will actually return it.
Im thinking of downsizing my board a bit, so this is useful to see if I can actually fit the things I want on a smaller board.
Missing a few brands and the odd pedal, but i just pick a similar pedal as a size guide.
The more I read about these, the more interested I am. Ive generally been thinking about upgrading to a valve amp as I like a dirty tone, but ive been thinking about getting something more versatile as I have plenty of pedals to add dirt if I want.
How much grit you can get out of these amps? Im not looking for pure filth, but a bit of bite would be nice.
I prefered the sound of my russian big muff pi, but it needed a blender to bring back the low end. I only got a bass big muff because my russian one died, but its still a good pedal especially for the price.
Thats a nice neat board there.
How do you use your noise box? Ive had one for a little while but havnt really had the time to experiment with it much yet. I cant decide whether to keep it or not.
Not really mate, im more in need of money at the moment. I think im finally happy with my pedalboard for the time being, so it'd need to be something a bit different to catch my eye for trade.
Im starting to find the M80 becoming one of my favourite pedals now. Ive had it half a year or so but its only recently thats its grown on me. Really gives my tone some power and depth behind it, and can add that little bit of grind to give me a more aggressive tone which I like.
For my clean tone I just use the color button and boost my mids a bit, and for a slight grit ive got the blend at around 10:00 and the gain at about 8:00. It only adds a very subtle drive to it but thats what I like, and you can crank it as much as you like.
Thanks. At the moment im using the M9 for pitch shifting, wah, octave, phaser, tremolo and delay. Pretty much got it for modulation and all the bits and bobs i dont use as frequently. Its there for options really.
