It's a classic J Series 5 string 35” scale, 24 fret bass.[list] [*][b]Custom options: [/b] [*]Flame maple top [*]Matching headstock [*]Figured maple fingerboard [*]3 - Tone Sunburst [*]J Retro controls [*]Hiscox hard case [*]Weight: 4.9 kg exactly [/list] [indent=1]Nut width = 47mm[/indent] [indent=1]String spacing from 17mm to 19mm (Hipshot Adjustable bridge)[/indent] The bass is in great condition with a few minor marks and signs of use. It's really well set up and plays superbly and the tone is amazing. Strong B thanks to the 35" scale. John East Preamp Earthing Question - those springs

John East Preamp Earthing Question - those springs

I had a similar issue and contacted East-UK who sent me the springs in the post (when moving the treble pot on a J-Retro i was getting some earthing issues). The springs are a solution from East to address a grounding issue with pots on the older pre-amps, i think all the new pre-amps have the springs fitted. Maybe you have 2 pre-amps on either side of the solution date. Either way East-UK were great to deal with and the springs sorted my issues. Hope this helps -
