Some of it is exaggeration. But i know that if a jazz musician makes a mistake when improvising, they will just repeat it in a "Yeah, i meant to do that" kind of way.

It doesn't sound good to me. It sounds more like a bassist showing off just how good they are at playing bass rather than showing off how good they are at music. I watched a Scott Devine video recently where he said he didn't like teaching slap because people get stuck there, and don't learn how to play harmonically. In my personal opinion, a lot of solo bass players go too far the other way. I don't find much interesting about a bass on its own, but within the context of a band, a good bassline is a fantastic thing, outside of a band, it's just a guy playing a bass, and nobody is really interesting in that, not even most bassists, obviously.

Playing a bass like a guitar is just wrong to me. Also playing it like a solo instrument i don't like.

They spelt it "Untill"... I think the overriding issue of job losses and the impact on the local economy was a bigger story.

How about something like this. "The BassChat bass relay is coming to YOU!" *blurb in regular sized writing* *Date and venue in big bright font* I should do this for a living.

How many gigs has it done now? 4/5? I'm not pointing the finger or blaming anybody at all, but it just needs more publicity to draw in money. Make it a bit of a spectacle to draw in the crowds.
