    Hi This is something that has always bugged me but I have never done anything about. I have a couple of basses and both are or seem to be neck heavy. When I let go the headstock drops. This leads me to grip or support the bass neck. What methods can I use to stop this happening other than change basses? Basses are a frettless Wilkes 4 string ebony board and a 1980s Squire Jazz fiesta red 4 string fretted. I play mostly double bass now so have got very used to not having to support the neck many thanks and happy Christmas to all Adrian

    I would love to try this out on double bass. I bet it would sound great and would certainly be a good quality pre-amp for a peizo pickup It may be worth posting on the DB forum I have no money at the moment though so unfortunately I can't buy it...

    Hi Helicore Hybrids Light Set - £60 posted Original packaging. I put the full set on my bass for a couple of weeks then took them off. Then I put the G on for about 6 months alongside a Spiro D A E so the G has seen some wear but still in good condition. I have been keeping them as a spare in case of breakages. They feel a bit lighter than Spiro Lights so ended up being a bit too light for me Evah Pirazzi Light Set [s]- £60 Posted 6 weeks use and in good condition. No original packaging. Purchased from Greg Cordez over the summer but I never put them on my bass due to having a new baby (boy, not bass!) I was trying out an older set and fancied trying a slightly newer set. Lack of time has led to them sitting on a shelf since purchase[/s] SOLD I also have an older set purchased on this forum - can sell for £30 posted I haven't looked at these sets for a while so PM me if you would like more info or pics.
