3. Chris - Thanks for the great write-up! We had a fantastic time during your visit, it was a pleasure to host you! Thanks again!
4. Silvia - Thanks for bringing this to light, and sorry for any offense caused. It appears that Florin has made all appropriate changes, and I'm sorry for any grief. You are absolutely correct, and Florin is right....Warwick is a company practically run by women! Thanks for your understanding.
5. Hi Bluejay! Yes, I'm happy to have to spread the word! The contest is open to Warwick Forum members, but I figured there's a few of them here too, and wanted to get the word out. Anyone who's not yet a member is more than welcome to come join us! Thanks again!

7. Without seeing the ad, I can't say for sure...but our latest Special Edition Corvette is the FSC-certified Open Day bass...made in commemoration of our 30th Anniversary Open House Day. Its made of 100% FSC certified woods - Ash Body, Wenge Top, Wenge neck and headstock veneer, and Ebony fingerboard with block inlays. Seen here: http://warwick.de/modules/custom_shop/NewsCustomShop.php?newsID=3876&modell=Corvette&page=3&cl=EN
8. Bassection - Very nice pair! There's nothing quite like a $$, and you've got both a Corvette and a Streamer! Thanks for sharing!
9.
went to their website... no mention of Warwick!
They are a new dealer, and are in the process of building a new website. The website is coming soon, but if there is something you need in the meantime, give Patrick a call! Thanks!
10.
Since there currently isn't a single Warwick dealer in the country, that might be a brand to explore.
Our dealer in the UK is Play Away Guitars: Play Away Guitars Unit W4, Knoll Business Centre Old Shoreham Road BN3 7GS Hove, East Sussex Great Britain Phone : 0044 01273 423950 Mail : "][email protected] Thanks!
11. Very cool, StephenFerguson! Be sure to keep us posted, and post pics when you can! Enjoy!
12. Feel free to speculate! haha....more info will definitely be coming soon. Thanks for your interest!
13. Very nice, Mr Zea! There's definitely something special about a Streamer Stage II! Thanks for sharing, enjoy!
14.
[sup]The Katana was a design contest from Asia was it not?[/sup]
It was actually redesigned based on a design contest from Asia, quite some time ago! Thanks for pointing that out.
15. Inti - the bass that was made in a design contest was the Thumb SC. The Katana is a very ergonomic design, and the tone cuts through like a samurai sword, hence the name! Luke - thanks for noticing! I'm around every day...just let me know if there is anything I can help with. Thanks again!
16. The Katana is still very much in existence! In fact, Scott Reeder just custom ordered one not long ago, and had it out on tour with him! They may not be out there in big numbers, but they are out there....there is nothing quite like the tone and playability of the Katana!
17. Beautiful Streamer VTtypeV4! Single coil J's on a Streamer are hard to beat...thanks for sharing!
18. Absolutely beautiful Corvette LTD, bagsieblue! Congratulations on the acquisition and thanks for sharing!

20.
So has anyone else had a look at these! I couldnt find anyone stocking these in the UK, so I emailed warwick and they told me they werent available in the UK! I should buy direct from them!! So i called a retailer friend of mine, he said warwick had made it impossible to be a dealer by insisting that dealers all carried pretty much one of everything, including the very pricey sig' models! He said they had effectively screwed themselves in the UK and he works for one of the bigger shops out there! So that aside, anyone tried one? From what I have heard and read, the pro series basses are nice and they look good too! Tony
This is absolutely not true and not a condition of being a Warwick dealer in the UK, or elsewhere. A dealer can stock the products they want, and we even have a policy for non-registered dealers to buy from us by going through a quick approval process. Our distributor in the UK can be contacted here: Warwick Music Equipment Trading (Hailsham UK) Ltd. "Cortland" George Street Hailsam East Sussex BN27 1AE Phone 0044 (0)161 8390666 Mail "][email protected] or Mail "][email protected] Please let me know if you've got any questions or need assistance in any way. Thanks!
21. Wow...very cool. A walnut Thumb bass and a Chrome Tone Streamer...definitely not something you see every day! Thanks for sharing!
22. Beautiful Streamer Stage I !! Thanks for sharing, and enjoy!
23. As others have mentioned, you can replace the nut. A brass JAN III would be the preferred replacement. There is a replacement video, seen here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wjCuHGLB-1I&feature=plcp I hope this helps. Please let me know if you've got any questions or need assistance in any way. Thanks!
24. That is indeed a Corvette Standard, made in Germany...not a Thumb bass. Please let me know if you've got any other questions. Thanks!
25. Troy doesn't have a signature model, but he does have a Streamer Stage II Custom Shop bass. Thanks!
